I am so sick of reading posts that say "the killing should be edited out" or "it was too graphic". Get over it. It is life. None of the scenes were in any way too graphic. We did not see blood and guts flying every where. We did not see bodies being ripped apart. We hardly even saw blood on the animals mouths and fur as they were eating. How do you people watch tv at all if you though this was too graphic. The news shows more violence then this. Movies show 100 times more violence. You people need to grow up.
Agreed. Guess what, this is what this show is about... struggle for life... and the beauty of the struggle, without humans shooting away. Guess wht... It's a tragedy by description, and everyone who never watched Discovery prior now gets to see. Nobody want's to see a dog die, but we're seeing what actually happens in nature. If more saw, they'd understand the world... tough stuff...

ah, the naive words of a Discovery viewer BEFORE man vs wild's camel segment aired.
Nature is tough and tumble beautiful! thats life as a whole , it goes up and down.. Planet earth was beautifully done, the struggle shows natures reality!
