This episode shows the naivete of some of the traders. To state, on the morning of the trade, that you don't like or hate a color is a bit ridiculous and to not understand that painting can change this to the point that the design is still maintained. To go so far as to ruin a friendship over something that can be easily changed and would probably deepen the friendship as the other couple appeared to be ready to help with this. Shows a very imature attitude. Beautiful design irrespective of the color.

Rewatching the episode I saw how immature and annoying Jessie was throughout. I remember the episode aired along with a "Where are they now?" a few years ago and according to Jessie, she did have a change of heart and started liking the room once people came by and highly complimented it. But to end of friendship over it was indeed small of her and if you saw her bedroom there was an 80s monstrosity of a bed complete with built-in ceiling-to-floor mirrors....YIKES! I just had to point that out!

I just watched the Las Vegas episode. I am thoroughly appalled and disgusted by Jessie's reaction. What a BABY! First of all, the room was magnificent! Kudos to Laurie! Jessie would not know design if it hit her in the face! I am a decorator also, and feel that the use of color and design was fantastic! Second, that was not brown, it was more of a neutral taupe. Two words Jessie, GROW UP! If you dont like it than all you have to do is paint it. Your friends worked extremely hard, you ungrateful brat!

I agree with you Jessie's response was over the top. I must say I am one of those old time TS junkie that stop watching a couple of years ago however, I do remember that episode when it orginally aired. Laurie and Fern are the best designer TS ever had however, that was to much brown or taupe for me in one room.

I'm just really loving these old episodes this summer! Even though we've seen them a few times before, an old show can still keep my attention from start to finish. I can't always say that about the newer shows. I have to add though that I can't wait for the new season to finally begin!

Jessie is absolutely the most ridiculous person I have ever seen. To allow a show where you have little to no ssy in the room to affect your friendship with someone is absolutely immature.

Based on that, I bet she has very few friends. Small stuff seems to be the breaking point for her friendships. Maybe she needs to read "Don't sweat the small stuff".
