Knowing there are more like me out there, I want to voive a big kudos for adding some shows that have an increased level of difficulty and are not for the faint of heart. I surfed over to Peak performances one night about 10:35 and caught the end of the show - Awesome workout that gave a body nazi - as my husband calls me - a run for her money. I'm glad that this show has been added, but wish the times were better with a morning or afternoon line up. I've only seen the show once so can't ultimately vouch for it - but if it maintains that intensity - Rock on!!!
Sometimes even beefing up some of the great standbys (I super love Gilad) doesn't give me the workout I'm looking for without doing 2-4 in a row - and who has the time.
I couldn't agree more! I feel like I could have written your post, steeplechaser! I loved that peak performances, but since I"m up at 5:00 am, I can rarely work out with it. I'd love to see it on at other times than 10pm and 1am. 1am?????
I also add intensity to my workouts including Gilad. I love him, and I always get a big kick out of seeing him work out with those 10# weights and act like he's getting some real benefit. Look at those arms of his. 10# yeah, right I even use 15, and for biceps, 20#. I'm pretty darn certain that he could blow me out of the water in terms of poundage!!
