All I have to say is that I'm really disappointed. Alot of us have voiced our opinions that the new scheduling sucks and nothing has been done to place the shows on when they used to be. I was very devoted (and looking forward) to working on Monday thru Friday starting at 8PM with Gilad and then Sharon Mann. Even the weekend schedule has suffered. Apparently the persons in charge of this Forum(FitTV) do not care that us working Moms relied on this time slot for "our time to work out". They have made a measly attempt at 6PM to put on the shows, but in reality with us working Moms by the time we get home and make dinner, we cannot do the shows. Can someone wake up! and please put on Gilad and Sharon Mann at even a 9PM time slot so that we can get our workout schedule back into shape.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on our programming. The user opinions that are shared in the forum are considered while creating schedules. Please do not get frustrated if your suggestion is not immediately implemented.
I will forward your message to the group in charge of setting the schedules to make sure they are aware of your programming suggestions.
I have to agree, but can take this issue even further. Your scheduling is all based on Eastern time, resulting in a 3-hour difference to those of us on the West coast. I have been a fan of and followed Gilad's Bodies in Motion show since the late 1980s. He has consistently gotten me off the couch & has the best and most invigorating workout for me.
I also would like to see evening workouts with Gilad (Bodies in Motion or Body Sculpting), but show times in the evening on the West coast. This means shows at 9 or 10 pm Eastern time.
Although the shows that are on now are nice, they do not help in the ultimate goal of losing and/or maintaining weight loss and fitness.
Please have some consideration for those of us who are dedicated and actually want to get up and move & not sit and watch people cook or do extreme activities that most of us will never attempt.
I AGREE TOTALLY!! FitTV is worthless to working women who get home at 7PM and would like to workout at 9PM and later. Can't we have workouts all day and night to accomodate everyone in whatever time zone!
I have to agree with the schedule. The evening programming is sometimes interesting. However, that's not what I want to tune in for. I'm looking for evening fitness classes, and they aren't available anymore. It's very disappointing. My time spent watching FitTV has dramatically decreased.
I agree with what has been mentioned in this forum. Recenlty I have been doing the workouts at about 5 or 6 pm CT. I work later and the later shows work into my schedule great. But now this week I look at the schedule and the last workout show is on at 4:30!!! Why?!!! I was really starting to see results with these workouts especially with the Total Body Sculpt workouts with Gilad. Apparently whomever reads these forums is not getting the message across to the schdulers. We need workouts in the evenings. Why not all evening?!! Please help us all to have the workouts we need. Your timliness in the matter would be appreciated. Otherwise I will be forced to drop fittv and support another workout channel.
Ok...Here we are now well over a year since I posted my message and I have yet to see any type of programming change. Oh..wait a second...hmmmm...I did see for awhile at the 7PM (EST) slot that Gilad/Sharon Mann was on, but that sure didn't last for long.
Alot of us have expressed our opinion and still it seems to fall of deaf ears. ModBen: Will there ever be a programming change to get some excerise shows back on the original 8PM time slot??...I sincerely doubt it.
FitTV is as far as I'm concerned is not Fit anymore. I was such a dedicated follower and now all I get is disapointment every time I look at the schedule. I so looked foward to exercising with the old schedule...and that was how I lost my 30 pounds... Now all they seem to care is about the stupid reality shows.
People out there, continue to express your opinions!! They have to listen at some point, right!!
I feel your pain. I will continue to do my best to draw attention to this issue. I appreciate your dedication and interest in the channel. Thanks, mod_ben
Yeah, what's up with the Fit TV program directors? This is, after all, supposed to be a WORKOUT station, so why not give more varied time slots to the actual workout shows? And what is with the early morning schedule on the weekends? Hello! That's when a lot of people like to sleep in! What's wrong with workout shows later in the day on weekends, as well as later in the evenings during the week, and scattered throughout the day to accommodate all different work schedules and life styles! Personally, I would like to see more time slots for Cathe Freiderich!
I think that your evening schedule is unacceptable!! It doesn't make any sense to have a fitness channel and you can't even work-out when you get home from work in the evening. What kind of people are you employing at your company?
I appreciate being able to do the Sharon Mann workouts after I get home from work now that she's on at 6:00 pm in my time zone.
The workout shows should continue until at least 10:00 pm in all time zones. Yes, viewers will work out that late.
If the Fit TV execs would think about what time gyms close, that's what time the workout shows should end. We will do the workout shows at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00 at night.
What happened to Gilad? To do the 1/2 an hour show now is like going back to beginner status. I So Loved the 1 Hour Body Sculpting program on at 2pm. I could care less about Fit nation, Marilu Henner, House Calls and all the Other Reality programs. Bring Back Gilad for an Hour at a time. Who needs All star for 3 Uggh Hours every week day? Night time programming after 5 would be Ideal but afternoons work too!
Apparently, FitTV thinks that only the stay-at-home moms are interested in staying in shape. If you work, you are just plum outta luck. Even the All-Star workout has now been moved to 9am and 2pm...we got nothin! Blaine's low carb kitchen is ridiculous...if you are going to do a cooking show, why not quick and healthy...or vegetarian meals the whole family will love...I doubt any of the exercise program hosts would endorse bacon fat and whole cream as a healthy diet!
I hate the new schedule, it stinks. I watched "The Gym" for a few minutes last night and it was horrible. When I go to your channel in the evenings, I want to work-out, exercise, but instead there are these pointless reality shows. Fit TV has gone downhill in my opinion, I call your channel 'Fat TV' now. It doesn't get me moving like you used to.
FitTv is the whole reason I switched from local cable to directTv. So I pay more to have it and now they have gotten so stupid about reality shows. Don't they realize that we want to workout and not watch those shows (if we did we could just change the channel). Also we don't only workout M-F what has happened to Sat and Sun??? Please listen to the people and change back the programing towards workouts.
I agree with the others who feel the new schedule stinks. I noticed complaints were voiced last summer and yet the schedule has only gotten worse with reality shows and less workout programs.
While I understand all the complaints re needing later shows, especially for the West Coast, my input is different. 6:00 A.M. is too late to do a class in the morning, and this is the earliest for the East Coast. Any thought of starting at 5:30 EST? Just found this channel and LOVE it!
