I really love these workouts. My biggest problem with working out is getting bored - but with All Star workouts I don't get bored at all. Some of the workouts are less challenging than others - some are more challenging. I'm a huge fan of Kendall's workouts. They are great! I've done a lot of cardio things in the past, so weights are new for me. I started out with very lightweights as a beginner and have progressively added weights with each time I do it. I'm actually using 8 lb. weights during those workouts and I'm really seeing a difference! I love the bhangra workout and Jennifer Ghilardi's dance workout. That really gets my heartrate up.

I actually like the kickboxing one - I'm simply doing it for the cardio of it - not the technique.

MaDonna's choreography is fun - but I don't feel like I work out enough during it. There's a lot of very slow movements in teaching it and not a lot of actual movement.

I can understand that Bhangra Dance is great for some but please stop showing it...you've had that same show on SO many times!!! C'mon, let's get with the program! There are a LOT of us that really want the physical AND mental challenge of Patrick Goudeau's Step (as well as Cathe Freidrich's step). PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE have Patrick do MORE step, he is fabulous, creative and the time just flies by!! Please try to curtail the hip-hop type shows as there are almost too many of them. Thank you for such an awesome program (All Star Workout). By the way, can you get Marcos Prolo and/or Rob Glick on your show?

I love the bhangra workout but think its a little cheesy but was really out of breath commercials and all but I wiah they would make new ones each workout for each person. So were not watching the same ones over and over and I was excited for the dance workouts but they keep going slow than fast than slow and fast they need to know we like it fast so we get a workout. i cant stand ok lets do the whole routine twoce slow and once fast.

All Star Workout seemed like a good idea when they were first advertising it. Little did I know that they would be showing the same shows over and over again. Please, enough. Either tape some new shows or give us additional Caribbean Workouts or Sharon Mann, etc.

I have been reading with interest all of the comments about All Star Workouts. I need your help here. I have MS and have a hard time finding activities that I can safely do. I know many of you find them boring and not challenging but because or weakness and lack of strength and balance, there are only a few that I can make an attempt at keeping up with. I love the shows that I can do. I'm wondering if anyone can or has recorded any of the following programs: Ballet Strength with Jennifer Galardi, Yoga With Weights with Sara Ivanhoe, Stretch Fusion with Michelle LeMay, Slow-robics with Ellen Barrett, Pilates Sculpt with Ellen Barrett, and Amazing Ball workout with Patrick Goudeau. I'd be willing to pay for these DVD's. Please respond here or contact me at wojoshar@hotmail.com

I love ALL sTAR wORKOUT, mY ONLY DISLIKE I HAVE ABOUT THE WHOLE SHOW IS THE DANCING, FOR SOME PEOPLE WHO CAN LEARN A ROUTINE IN AN HOUR IS FINE BUT WHEN TRYING TO LEARN AND USE IT FOR EXERCISE IS JUST NOT FUN. I LIKE THE MORE INTENSE WORKOUTS. kEEP PETRA, ELLEN, KENDALL AND JENNIFER COMING. AND BY THE WAY HOW ABOUT SOME NEW SHOWS.

It took me a while to warm up the All Star Workouts (and there are only a few that I truly enjoy). Like many others have mentioned, having some fresh shows would be nice. Again an emphasis on a variety of fitness levels might please viewers. I'd just like to see the how descriptions on my TV guide channel. So that if I am flipping through and see a show description that I want to do, I can hit a reminder and be ready when the time arrives. The email reminders are good, but sometimes I forget that I read the email two or three days ago.

IMO i think Tommy D has done a great job with the kickboxin technique. It is like a Tae Bo alternitive because when I do Tae bo, a few hours later my body begind to sore so bad I cannot walk. So on day I check The All Star Workout and Tommy D was on and I began the movements right off and didn't feel any stifness at all but I feel a whole lot healthier. Luckily my cable company offers FitTV "on demand" and his episode was there on the lineup so I grab a DVD and recorded the show and the commercial are down to about 30 seconds. That's enough time to drink some water. I think FitTv have done a great job with the show and hopefully there will be an advance level to the show. And for those who are criticise about ASW, just don't watch it.

I'm just stopping by to say that Petra Kobler totally gets me motivated! Just knowing that she's going to be there makes doing my workout that much easier. Keep them coming!!

Started watching this when Petra Kolber announced her new shows upcoming in September. While patiently waiting for those, have been favorably impressed with Patrick Goudeau's step class (and now feel like I can confidently tackle some of his DVDs!), Tom Deters' kick-boxing, and the boot camp segment by Kendall (?). Have recorded, but not yet tried the Yoga with weights, and Ellen Barrett's classes. I have to agree with others who aren't convined by "belly dancing" or other dance-y fitness routines, but assume this is simply a matter of taste. That said, I'm all for more advanced classes, esp by Petra, Patrick, Tom and Kendall! Perhaps different "tracks" to accommodate various fitness levels?

I never knew about FitTV until I happened to stumble upon All Star Workouts with Ellen while channel surfing a little over a week ago. (I have her Crunch Fat Burning Pilates DVD and enjoyed it until my body got too used to the workout.)

I started with Patrick's stability ball workout and had a blast! The next day I did the Belly Dancing routine. Since then, I work out with the shows and tape the repeat at 5pm. It really helps when I want to pause to get dance moves down and when I want to make sure I'm doing each exercise correctly. I do worry about other people who are obese or aren't in touch with their bodies enough to know the proper technique, but that's not really my problem.

After working out on and off for a few years, I've finally found enough workouts to keep from not being bored! The belly dancing was challenging as my hips are way too tight, but I have it on tape and I'm determined to learn the routine Aubre presented. Ellen's workout was great as usual, and I can't wait for Groove Dance tomorrow with Jen.

Obviously I'm just catching up on the shows, but I hope there are new shows on the horizon. I'm ready for any kind of dancing and the more focused workouts.

If you're complaining about All Star Workouts not being challenging enough for you, you either aren't doing every exercise and dance step correctly or you should move on to the other shows FitTV offers. Or go to your local gym.

As some said, there are more beginners than fit people. I'm more of an intermediate because I've been a dancer in the past and know my body and the actual correct positions, and I love All Star Workouts! They introduce me to things I never thought I'd like (Belly dancing) and therefore challenge me.

I, too, am disappointed with All Star Workout. It's not much of a workout. Some of the people act like they are making an MTV video instead of a workout video.

I am a Beginner! I am in support of AllStar Workout. I have not had a routine for getting my body fit so you know it needs a lot of help. I love the different shows they are great for us beginners. When I first tune in it was with Patrick and the stability ball, I was hooked from there and I looked forward to viewing each show. I have taped the ones I am able to do now and even those that are challenging for later. I'm sad when I read some of the other posts. How they think this is a joke and boring, but to someone like me this is great and it giving me an opportunity to get myself fit and I think you should support ASW even if it not challenging for you it helping alot of overweight, out of shape obese people feel there are different shows out there that are fun and not to hard; even though some are. get themselves fit. I am grateful that I surf the channels that day and saw Patrick show using the stability ball. Thanks fitTV. Keep this show right where it is. Smile

I'm enjoying All-Star Workouts immensely. I save those that I like (mainly those that don't require equipment that I have no place to store!) and I fast-forward thru the commercials. Yep, they're simple...so am I. I'm in my 40's and I'm actually able to keep up with MaDonna and Tom, yet with a different workout each day, I don't get bored. I despise calisthenics (all that crap that was taught back when I was in school...); who's want to do jumping jacks when you can belly dance or Bhangra?!

I just caught a glimpse of this show and I really enjoyed it, unfortunately it is at a horrible time for me because I am usually in class when All Star Workouts comes on. I don't have tivo or anything but I thought I would post this out for anyone who does. I, like wojoshar earlier, am willing to buy dvds of this program, I am especially interested in Aerobic Ball Workout with Patrick Goudeau, Bhangra Dance with Sarina Jain, Belly Dance with Aubre, BOSU ball inventor David Weck, Nonstop Step with Patrick Goudeau, and Stretch Fusion with Michelle LeMay. please email if you are willing to help me out in this gekko_not_geico@hotmail.com Thanks Smile
