This is Nancy from the Oasis Camel Dairy. We just watched our Dirty Jobs premiere... twice! I just want to say a big, fat THANK YOU to Mike and everyone at Dirty Jobs and Pilgrim Films. You guys are so dead-on terrific at what you do! And to all the Dirty Jobs fans out there... Mike IS the guy he seems to be on ...TV! Charming, funny, gracious and very fast on his feet! Oh ... and that moment where Dave Barsky almost got his head kicked off???? Don't feel bad... he was trying to set Mike up for a kick! Those two guys are like two practical joking frat boys! Mike is a wonderful camel handler... if he wasn't, the camels would not have been so great with him.
He is a NATIONAL TREASURE.... I hope we didn't damage his family jewels!

loved the camel dairy show. would have loved to hold mike's butt on the camels back like you did. the whole show was terrific.

Like the man says.... "it's a dirty job, but somebody had to do it"

Actually, he probably didn't need the help but as I stood there I thought, what could I do for all the women in America... I need to do this for them!

this show was interesting. I had no idea that there even was camel milk or that they could be friendly. I definitely liked the show.

OMG the camel farm episode ranks right up there with the Lake Erie snakes episode! We totally enjoyed both Mike and Nancy.

Mike is AMAZING to "play off of". He has a wonderful, sophmoric sense of humor backed up by an intellegent mind. Kind of rare really.
Plus, he totally saved my butt once during the shoot. The camels where all heading for the gate, Gil yelled to me, "get the gate!" and I was so not in the right position...
Cameras and crew are everywhere and the whole herd got a look on their faces like kids being let out the big double doors on the last day of school!
Before chaos could insue, I see this flash of green... it's Mike... he sprints across, waves them back and closes the gate! He was totally a camel guy! Very cool
