Mike! I love your show but come on man, you're killing me. I love the episodes where you have heavy machinery working in the background and even better when you're in it but recently you ripped my heart out!!! I work for Caterpillar, the largest heavy machinery company in the world yet in your recent episode when you were loading the bucket of the 983H wheel loader with crushed up toilet parts you called the machine you were operating (a CAT 246B skid steer) a Bobcat!!!! Come on man!!! It's a Cat!! That'd be like me saying I watched Dirty Jobs on Turner!!! It's a common mistake for people to reference a skid steer of any make as Bobcat because they've been around for so long but twice you called it that and it killed me. I appreciate the shots of the equipment but we make a high quality product that gives the customer some excellent value, hence the recycling company you worked with having a huge amount of Caterpillar equipment. Anyway, love the show and keep on doing what you're doing!
Hey Mike, I think it's awesome that you called the Cat a skid steer. Not until Cat forks over some money for endorsements should you call it anything more. But, then again, I guess you will always call it a skid steer since you’ve already driven a Komatsu! Come-on Geid, it’s all about recycling the Toilets not the wheelbarrow there carried in! …Keep up the great work Mike.
He didn't call it a skid steer. He called it a Bobcat, which is a brand like Caterpillar. And I take pride in these machines, which is why it's not all about the toilets, something has to move em and in this case it was a Cat.
