From what I can tell...you have asked Mike to convince you why you should watch "Dirty Jobs" instead of "House," and have offered to join him in any poo-related activities. Mike hasn't chosen to answer you, so you're now mad at him and leaving?
Your choice. But I have a question...why can't you watch either DJ or "House" on Tuesdays when it airs, and tape the other show to watch after the one is over? Or catch "Dirty Jobs" on one of the other nights it airs? (You'll miss the newest episodes, but you'll eventually see them all.)
I commend you on your good taste, however...I'm a big fan of both Mike Rowe and Hugh Laurie, so it's always a tossup as to which show I watch, and which I tape.
Hi there, Jill! I think the point here has been passed over. I originally asked a legitimate question, in fun, and it was originally deleted. I don't see the question in the message boards any longer. I appreciate your thoughts on the matter and yes, I agree on some levels. Yes, I know I can record the shows. I was hoping for a response from Mike, as everyone does, but as you said, he chose not to answer. And a followup question he chose not to answer as well. That's fine, I really didn't expect that either, just hoping. I realize he can't answer every message received on the boards, but you surely made me feel stupid. You want people to comment and watch the show. I commented and look what happened....zapped! Actually, if Mike has not chosen to answer, as you have said, then it appears that he doesn't need the viewers. If it's because of his staff, and their interpretation of the questions, then it's not his fault. Sorry, Jill, don't know what to think.
Nikki, if you posted your question in this forum then Mike hasn't seen it much less anything else. He rarely comes to this forum. He sticks to "Mike's Mud Room." There is enough happening there to keep him busy.
get a DVR and join the rest of the world. my parents are technolgy challenged and they have a DVR. I never watch a TV show live and I record both house and dirty jobs. I use dish network.I highly recommend!!!!!!!

And if Mike doesn't give a rip of what people are saying about him here, then what's the point? People, and not just me, are writing to him. But I've gotten the point....I understand it now. Hey, y'all. Just wanted to touch base. I realize Mike doesn't visit this venue. And maybe someone can relay to him that, because I wrote to a site that says "talk to Mike", and was pretty much referred to as an idiot when no one got the point, I don't watch the show anymore. And I have recommendations from five other people that they don't watch either, because of my experience. I hope you are all enjoying getting no responses, or responses from people who don't know what they're talking about. Thanks for everything!

You are awesome! And I appreciate your response! My questions have been in fun but taken much too seriously by the people on this website. I guess not many of them have a sense of humor like I have, which is why I enjoy Dirty Jobs so much. My original question was..if Mike's show is on the same time as House, how could Mike convince me to keep his show #1? Fun question, just looking for a fun answer, that's all it was. Wait Nikki NO don"t stop with your humor! Some times comments are misread or misinterpeted and some post a reply without thinking! I'm so curious 2 know the question you asked now!? I'm new here and still have alot of the site 2 go through, but there is no such thing as a "stupid Question". But if there was I would probably ask it.

Nikki--Don't let a few that need to interfere with bashing discourage you from posting. I think your question to Mike is interesting and with his sense of humor and quick wit I'd like to see his answer. Not everyone has the sense of humor that WE who get your point have. I believe Mike for one does have that. Good question. Now just need a good answer from the man himself

I am still waiting for a response, which would be great! Not sure how to get that, tho'. Barsky said he would relay the question to Mike, but I've not heard anything.
