I found a 1972 Buick GS455 Convertible sitting on the side of a house near my own. I knocked on the door three different times asking if they would sell it and they finally did. It is a very rare car, one of 114 made in 1972. It drove home and I have fixed it up to be a very nice driver.
I've purchased several cars at the Kruse Auburn auctions and have found the best buys can be had if you have patience and wait the other bidders out. Late at night or early in the auction both have worked good for me. You have to spend the time though to check the cars out before they go across the block and then hang around til the bitter end. You can usually find a buy in the Car Corral the last day of the auction, but take cash.
