Danny, Three Mile Island is getting two new generators and they are being shipped from Paris to Harrisburg, PA. These weigh in over 500 tons a piece and moving by a transporter that will make it over 800 tons. The company involved is Areva and they have a web site about this massive move. They say it will take 20 days to move 70 miles to reach this famous nuclear power plant. The transporters only move at 3mph and has to move cross country and threw small towns. We are moving several telephone poles to allow these units to crawl up the road. This is suppose to happen late summer, early fall.
