Big fan of the show and a big fan of U2. They are going to be starting their world tour next month in Barcelona and will come to the States in September. One of the exciting features of the tour will be the stage. They are currently building them in Werchter, Belgium and there are fans posting pictures of the early work on the internet: http://bartmot.be/Site_2/The_Claw.html#10Information on the stage and animation for the finished product is over at u2.com! There are TONS of U2 fans who would LOVE to see an episode dedicated to this tour's stage setup. -dan

This is a great idea for Build It Bigger!
The U2 360 stage is enormous, and it would be a perfect fit for Danny to join the roadies for a set-up and tear-down on the upcoming tour. If the show's shooting schedule is already set for this year, the tour is expected to continue through 2010, although there are no confirmed dates yet.

This would be awesome to see! There's nothing in the world like a big concert production and this one is shaping up to be the biggest one ever. Please, please, please consider doing this.

After seeing the North American Opener of the U2 360 Tour in Chicago on September 12th, and the massive, incredibly complex and technical stage supporting the show, this would make a great Build it Bigger episode.
The staging is a concept that has never been done before, is over 140 feet tall and takes 140 trucks to transport it. It takes 5 days to construct, 2 to tear down and there are 3 of them moving around the country at once---one at the current city, one being constructed for the next city and another headed to the city after the next! Unbelievable logistics.
Please consider it---you would get a totally new demographic exposed to the show!
