Served in the USAF back in early 60's as a weather observer at Eglin AFB, FL mostly in range support. Eglin is a secure test base and got to see a bunch of totally weird experiments there.

But, to the SHOW IDEA... we flew aircraft through thunderheads to experience the effects of core turburlance on aircraft, but thats another story. We had many incidents of moderate to large hail damage aircraft and other property and always got mixed stories from witnesses and therefore not reliable to put in our reports. One fellow had a sizeable knot on his head when he ran to his car to try and get it out of the storm. So... a show about hailstones, sizes and velocity from altitude would be informative. How much mass in a hailstone does it take to do damage... or worse.

Thanks for the time....

John Lester
