I have read that microwave ovens can cause molecules to ionize and can even become toxic. For example, if you water a plant with (cool) water that has been boiled, the plant will not grow. The article I read said that Russian scientists recommended banning microwave ovens because the side-effects were too great. Are these all myths? Is microwaved food OK?
