It is incredibly painful to try and watch this show anymore. The show itself and the projects covered are great but I cant stand watching this anymore. Nobody expects this guy to know everything about doing the projects covered . He is so annoying and is scared of everything. The producers should take a look at the content and theme of a lot of the posts on this site. I dont care who hosts the show as long as its not Danny.

Oops, I used a bad "trigger-word" in agreeing with this post., so I'm resubmitting....I humbly apologize to Danny for that belittling term I think giving Danny a heave-ho would greatly improve the show's impact and interest. Hear, hear!!

who do you want to host the show,a ex navy seal type, he has a fear of heights in general and has a sense of humor, seems to get along with all involved so whats with all the hate,whats going on in your life to warrant the negative talk, you think you could do a better job, danny keep up the great work.

I couldn't agree more, Danny is a tool and the job is way over his head. There is no doubt he built himself up to the Discovery people and it is obvious by his narcissistic comments always saying "I did" this, "I built" that, and "I moved" this, never a WE giving the actual workers credit! The people he interacts with are obviously annoyed by him.

Look at the Pre-Fabbed home for instance. You could tell the workers dreaded being around him and he took credit for the house!

Sure he may have the school smarts, but that's it! He has no physical agility, common sense, never attempts to build a rapport with the workers like Mike Rowe does SO WELL. The guy screws everything up. He obviously has no physical hands-on work experience. He belittles the people doing remedial work like cleaning windows.

The guy is afraid of heights, the show is named "Build it Bigger"....need I say more? Obviously you'll be required to climb extreme heights!

I'm interested in the show premise, but abhor the host!!! DISCOVERY...TAKE DANNY OFF, there is no hope for him WHATSOEVER because that is his personality, you can't change that!!! HE IS THE WORST POSSIBLE HOST you could have chosen.

Wow cobrapete, I bet Discovery is just going to change the locks and cut Danny's payroll off faster than you can say "Build it Bigger" because of that post. Those multiple angry emotional icons really shows that you are serious about what you're saying. I hope Discovery takes such important remarks to heart so they don't end up getting their offices blown up or something.

I wonder if he bought his why onto the show!? I agree with one entry that mike rowe would be an AWSOME host.

Danny is an architect. He does understand the basics of what a structure is on paper. He has no work skills, though he does try to pitch in. He is afraid of heights though he does get there, but he makes his acra phobia clear and constant. Bad for the show. They should really get someone who is more physically adapted, better personality, and one who will gove those he works with far more credit for what they, not he, are doing. It is not that he does not try, give credit for that. But he is not mentally, emotionally or physically suited for that kind of show.
