i am 23 and have had one ovary removed due to borderline tumor. since then i am still dealing with that on other ovary. i just had two more borderline tumors removed, but they are discussing removal of the whole ovary after just one week of having the tumors removed. my cancer docs are unsure what to do. they say it is rare to have borderline tumors come back. i want kids but more importantly i want to not fear everyday wether or not this is going to turn into full blown cancer. i need emotional help. when i try discussing with family they dont understand what im going through. they just say its not cancer its borderline. i feel otherwise. i havent had chemo or anything but have had the three tumors that rapidly grew. i need someone to talk to who has been through this please!!!
well its the next week now and my cancer doc has decided to go ahead and remove the other ovary. they dont want to chance it getting worse and spreading. anyways if someone else has been through the borderline please write back.
Hello, I also Had a borderline tumor removed. It was last year it was totally incapslulated inside a 12CM benign tumor so they told me it was nothing to worry about, Ha! how can you not worry? no-one seems to have any clear information. is it cancer ? or is it not cancer! They told me I would never have to come back to get checked but now that I have read your story I am afraid...when should you get checked again? how long should you wait??
