Myth is, that if you are soaked (by rain or after swimming) in cold climate, you are better off naked than wearing wet clothes (cotton).

not in the water, but afterwards when on land, off course.

for one its not a myth it has been proven its better to be naked and dry then wet. This is also why you should sleep naked in a sleeping bag wearing clothes holds sweat. and second this isn't the Mythbusters forum.

I saw the last Man versus Wild and maybe he did this piece about the wet clothes because it gave Bear an opportunity to run around with no clothes like Richard Hatch on "Survivor".

All I know is that last night, the whole world saw a little too much of Bear.

Next on the discovery chanel!, "Bear" naked and buck wild.

He should to a show like that with Richard Hatch, so they can both run around with no clothes on. It would save on wardrobe costs.

That would be extremely awkward, but you're right, they should make a special where both of them have to escape without any help. It could even turn into a race to see who gets back to civilization first. That would be awesome.
