I watch this show from time to time and I am one of those people who can't bear to watch a horror movie, lifetime movie (jesus!, especially lifetime) or anything involving survival and not comment on how stupid these people can be. Although I realise that this can be quite annoying, it is rather hard to remain quiet. It is just something that is rooted deep within me and originates from the desire for people to overcome and survive, and to not make dumb decisions.

Just to refresh your memory, two friends go on a fishing trip to mexico along with their dads. They are flying from arizona or one of those southwestern states, bearing south, and headed to the pacific coast of baja mexico. They crash into the Gulf of California.

They leave with inadequate life jackets, designed for a max of 100lbs. Gulf of CA is teaming with sharks and killer @ss squid. BUT when the plane engine gets jacked up after passing through a storm, the pilot decides that he would rather take his chances further out at sea! OMG! I would have bit his nose off. Granted he had a logically reason to do so (head further out that is, and use the storm wind to slow their descent), I believe the sharks, killer squid, and almost useless life jackets out weigh the benifit of a softer landing. Although they survived, I believe they would have faired better to crash closer to shore. Aside from that, I have no other complaints...
