Did anyone see this documentary last night? What a strong family this was. This show brought me to tears knowing how strong there love for each other and their baby boy was and the strong will not to give up when at a time it was so easy to just stop looking for help. I thought this couple were remarkable parents and that this little boy is lucky to have them as their mom and dad. It made me realize how lucky I am to have what I have and to make sure I always show my love to my family cause you never know when you will get put into a life or death situation.

Yes 1tv2, It was an awesome story. It inspired me and moved me as much. I will never ever dare to complain about the snow or cold after seeing what human beings are capable of. I was just as moved by their love for each other.
I was surprised to know that the baby stood a better chance of survival than its parents.
I hope Discovery comes out with a video of the series. I am sure to buy the DVD just fot this story. This was my first 'I shouldn't be alive'. I shall be watching the following ones for sure.

I missed the end of the show last night but was gripped by what I was watching. I left off where the husband walked back to the truck alone and it wouldn't start. Can someone tell me how they got out of there eventually?

Does anyone remember at the end of this story, if the baby was OK? I'ts been awhile since I watched, and I can't remember if the baby did or did not get frostbite or suffer any consequences. How about the Mom and Dad?
The show is WONDERFUL. I can't get enough.

The baby was free of any trauma. Both of the parents lost their toes via amputation but were otherwise alright.

they should have left a message(indicating which direction they went) in their vehicle just in case somebody found the abandoned vehicle.

This whole survival story has more to it than what you have seen on TV. I live in Modoc County California less than 50 miles away from where this whole thing happened. I have hiked, camped and hunted the whole area in and around the Sheldon Wildlife Refuge. If anyone is intrested in more details of this survival story they should ask around the stores and resturant in Cedarville CA. You will find out so much more than what you saw on TV.
