I stumbled acrossed K9 Karma about a week ago and love it. Charlie looks almost exactly like my border collie/ husky mix Chase- to the point where I thought it was Chase on TV. Charlie and Chase even have the same temperments.
I love the show. They are so wonderful together and Kari's little belly is getting bigger. Has she had the baby? I didnt see a dude in the picture so wasn't sure the details but I love the show and thanks for putting it on. I hope it remains a long time. I'd love to get the address for Scouts and some of the other shops she goes to. I have ordered from Whiskers and wait my order Thanks Donna (Vlandyra@aol.com- holler if you have the address and details)
Charlie is great! He reminds me of Whishbone. Keri is not very exciting though; is she always so dry? I wish she was more animated and showed a little more excitement, but maybe the yoga has made her too calm or something.
I think that Charlie & Kari have such a great relationship and I feel good just watching the show! I just found out that Charlie's birthday is Sept. 23rd and my birthday is Sept. 19th, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY Charlie!
I just started watching k9 karma and absoulutly love it. I am starting Yoga tonight because of it. I have always been a animal lover and I just love the way Kari and Charlies relationship is. I think he is the coolest dog and think this is the best show that has ever came to animal planet. Thank you for that Kari and Charlie.
I really enjoy the show. It's interesting to see all the activities for dogs and their owners...but we're all wondering what the other dogs in Kari's home do all day??
I love the show! Totally addicted and now on my TIVO. Keep doing exactly what you are doing! I love the fact you have this discussion board too, and yes I have a sugguestion! Put links to places you visit, I live in the city and want to know where MUD is (you took Charlie there for coffee and croissant.) Looks like they allow dogs and I am always interested in places that allow dogs inside! Keep up the good work!
I like the show very much...BUT I find that the actor who plays Charlie the dog is annoying. He has a monotone voice, no sense of humor as if he is simply reading the copy. Annoying indeed. Wish there was someone else who was more enthusiastic and more energy with some spirit.
It's one of my favorite shows on Animal Planet! I love it. I just wish they make more. I've already watched everything twice. Is there any chance Kari and Charley move to my town? I wish we had Doga gym here too.
I adore Kari and Charlie. I look forward to watching the show each evening and find that I learn a little something with each show. Looking forward to some new adventures with Kari and Charie in the city.
I like Charlie's voice! It fits perfectly. I've never met such a mellow dog... Specially as a husky mix! My Border Collie/Shepard mix has her mellow moments, but she's hyper in strange places!
What I really like about the show is the activies. I wish there were links on here to the different activies. I'd like to do more research on some of the things brought up. Like the list of healthy foods, accupressure, etc. But thank you for making this show! It's really enjoyable and interesting.
Today I watched my very first show of K9 Karma (I watched while my Chi slept next to me). I really liked the shows, especially the part of their visits to Whiskers and that other store. But I was wondering if anyone can help me with the name of the store where they were knitting for their babies? I know how to knit scarfs but I want to learn how to knit sweaters for my little chihuahuas. Thanks!
I watch the show every day with my 4 furbabies. It really doesn't feel like we're watching a television show; rather, it feels like we are spending time with old friends. I've never known someone who loves their dogs with as much passion and joy, besides me. And Kari is such a sweet and genuine girl. Best of luck with your baby, Kari! I absolutely adore you! Tawny
I LOVE this show, and never miss it! I like to see, finally, my values and the lifstyle that I think all dogs deserve, reflected on t.v- there is no show like it! Please keep it on for a long time to come! It's so impt. for people to learn about quality nutrition, as there is so much "junk" and harmful ingredients in commercial dog foods. I loved when the canine nutritionist was featured at Whole Foods, one of my favorite places to shop!
What I LOATHE and wish Kari would address, is all of the prong collars that I see on so many dogs in NYC. I would like for her to educate people on punishment training and why these types of collars should not be used. People see them on a show like this when people on the street with their dogs are being interviewed, and may think it's ok...it's not!
I would also love to see more into Kari's homelife with her doggy family and hubby. How are the dogs adjusting to the new baby, how has her life changed, etc. It would also be nice to see the other dogs incorpoarted more into the show. I know she does pet therapy with Rosie, so she clearly spends quality time with her, but I too aften wonder how she spends her time with each dog to ensure everyone gets quality time.
