My girlfriend and I watch the show faithfully, and love Dr. G. However, we both noticed that Dr. G looks like she is grossed out when she does autopsies. During the autopsy procedures when she cuts in to a body or looks in to a body, Dr. G always makes a face that made both of us think that either the smells or sights of the procedure are revolting to her. Does anyone else think that Dr. G appears grossed out while she is doing an autopsy procedure?
ya, but how can you not? i call it "The Dr.G Face" lol. its a thing in my family now. lol. shure she's "grosed out" id be more worried if she wasnt. some cases are more grusume than others but in reality, she is cutting organs etc and it is/was ??? a human beeing! even though im going 2 be an M.E. as well, i dont think i could do 1000 autopies per year for 20 years, and not ever get grosed out. it's inevitable.
I would imagine that it's not exactly the most fun thing to do, especially with a heavily decomposed body... but it looks more like a face of intense concentration to me. After a while, I'd suppose you'd get used to it, but either way it's still a human body and it still probably feels really weird to just be poking around inside it like that.
I think that when she see something not exspected, that it causer her to react perplexed. By now she has to be used to the smells of the deceased. She has worked on so many cases from the most digusting decomposition to the bodies cover in heavy cologne.
