When I was first getting into the idea of becoming a Medical Examiner, I told myself I would fell for the deaths. like how ever m.e. always says they don’t let their emotions get in the way of a case.

I will do that! but at the end of the day, seeing a triple homicide/ suicide. a child drowning and a pregnant women dead in a car crass. I think those things fall under the category of OK to Cry for.

what do you think?

Question:
Is it ok for an M.E. to cry/mourn/etc. over the deaths he/she deals with every day?

Choices:
Yes. Perfectly normal!!
No. It could impair judgment and make the case byest.
it depends on the case
none of these. < if so tell why and what you think is ok.

To be truthful, I have shed a tear or 2 while watching Dr.G, I become very touched by some of the cases, so if I where to become a Medical Examiner, I would likely cry a few times. But it is normal, we are all human.
