The episode that air next Friday is going to be sooo sad!! The one about the 12-year-old boy who might have strangles himself!!! I know I'm going to cry!! I almost did just seeing the commercial!!! boo hoo!
I know that is sssoooo sad. U think it is extremely sad that someone that young is suspected of doing that. He must have been really unhappy if he did hang himself. I hope that isn"t the case.

When I saw the commercial I cried. I mean a 12 year old who might have strangled himself, he was only just a young child. I hope its not suside.. they are always soo sad!!.. Im gonna cry for sure I know it when It comes on. I am an emotional person, and I get very upset easily especially when it comes to that type of case!

You all need to understand how serious next weeks episode is. I have been told by a mutual friend of the boys Grandfather that he died from playing the 'Choking Game'. This 'game' has too many other names to list, but it's played the same way. You cut off the air supply to get a 'high'. Some use their hands and others use belts, ropes or anything else they can find. In most cases if the game is played by yourself with a ligature it is almost always fatal. When you pass out, there is no one there to remove the ligature from your neck. Please talk to you kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews and neighbors and tell them this is dangerous! Most kids that try this are 'good' kids who would never do anything like this. Please watch and tell everyone about this!
Tsepas77.. I somehow knew he died from playing the chocking game, and I know a lot about it. This game kills you.. many kids play it with their friends, and other play it alone!.. At our school in Health class at the beginning of the year we learned all about it because, one of the students at our school had played this so called "Game", with their friends.. he did pass out, and WAS ok!!!.. many kids do this alone, and from what I understand, when the kid/ or teen starts to black out they try to take the object of their neck, and they cant because its too tight, and they fall to the ground and die!... THIS IS NOT A GAME!!!... NEVER TRY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Dr. Gfanatic1, I am so glad they are doing this episode. We had kids try this in my apartment complex (which is across the street from the elementary and middle schools) last fall. Another mother and I went to several school board meeting to plea with them to talk about this in the kids health classes and their response was shocking. Since it did not happen on school grounds, there was nothing the could (or would) do about it. We went to news papers and even the local television and had stories aired on the evening news, but nothing has been done. We have done our best to circulate as much information as possible. The worst thing about this is that the kids who are doing it think that because they are not smoking pot or drinking beer they aren't doing any harm to themselves. Unfortunately they learn too late.
They had an assembly at our school about things like this after a group of girls got caught huffing. They talked to us about the chocking game, huffing, ect., some kids just don't realize. They think "It can never happen to me". I thought the same thing too ( not about these things but like cancert and other illnesses) until wednessday when my friends mom died. I never thought it would happen to her. Sadly eno0ugh it took that happening to realize even the worst things happen to the best people.
Kids that are not educated do not know "the" bad effects of this. Many of them think that if they black out,they will wake back up and be fine... the reason why kids die of this is because they put an object around their neck that is too tight, and once they start to black out they try getting it off.. and they go down.. sometimes they die from brain injiures from the fall if they were standng and they fall head first!... Mostly kids show other kids, and they think its "ok". so they try it themselfs... It ONLY takes one time, to do this. people think its ok because once you let go of the neck the blood flow will go back to your brain and you will wake up again... some people do... and some DONT!.. this is very serous.. about 250- 1000 children, and teens die a year in the USA and 100- 200 in canada!!.. this is getting more and more common because kids are not getting educated, and think its "OK"!!!
Most people dont know anything about it until they have done it.. This so called "game" has been around since the 1040's, but they never thought it could hurt you!.. until research has show that it KILLS! its sooooooooooo sad!!
I accedentaly put 1040 I ment 1940!.. if it were 1040 it would have been in the STONE age! lol.. no but the players of the chocking game die all the time 250-1000 a year because they are not educated enough!... I THINK this should be talked about this more often before more lives are tradictly lost!
