On the episode where Bear is in Siberia. He talks about a World War II prisoner in Russia that escapes and walks his way back to freedom. He says that he learned the importance of goals and would hold 10 bullets in his hand, walk 1,000 steps and put 1 bullet into the other hand.
Does anyone know the story behind this guy Bear is talking about? What was the prisoners name? Where can I find more information about him?

You can read a brief description of that three-year escape at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clemens_Forell . You might be able to find the book in a used book store. Try Googling the name, which was a pseudonym.

Sorry that the link didn't work. But it is short enough to key in, or just go to Wikipedia and key in the name there.
