Does anyone know what brand wristwatch Bear wears? Specifically in his episode in the Ecuadorian rain forest

A Bremont- this is a company started by two friends of Bear Grylls who set out to build the worlds toughest non battery watch.

Has anyone ever noticed that he tells you how to measure the time left before the sun goes down with his hands while he's wearing a watch? Does anyone think this is silly or what? Why not just look at the watch?

Looking at your watch to know how long until the sun goes down requires that you know exactly when the sun goes down where you are at. Using your hands on the horizon doesn't tell you what time it is, but simply how long until the sun goes down. Nothing silly about it. Also, (if we follow your line of thinking) what if one doesn't have a watch? Bear was simply pointing out a tool one can use to judge how much day light there is left. This has nothing to do with telling time so this has nothing to do with a watch.

True, I just thought MAYBE BEFORE you go out, you would have at least a general knowledge of when the sun would go down. I know that his tactics are just. I just want to be difficult at times just to be difficult.
It's fun.
