Does anyone recall what Dr. Fitzgerald gave the dog to help it throw up?

I know it was something we all have at home, but this is keeping me up. I can't recall what it was.

You can give a dog hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting.

you can also use ipecac syrup, or ordinary dish soap mixed with water.

Or you can use a simple solution and stick you finger down its mouth and the gag reflex will take care of the rest.
