Hey there,

A fun one to test! My wife and I have been trying to start a family for the past two years, and we have an ongoing dispute that when I take a bath, it's bad for the sperm. We have heard conflicting reports from doctors.

How about you guys testing hot water and sperm count, as well as how long to wait between, well, er, happy endings... for sperm count to return to optimal count.

Come on guys, take one (or give some) for the team!!!!!

Ummm...no. Ask this one at Playboy.com or somewhere else. Please?

Sorry but there are some uppity-ups on this board who will report your post as sexually explicit or something else stupid and get it deleted. There are tender feelings who can't stand having those things discussed, even on a serious biological matter. They seem to think it is linked with filth and girlie magazines. It's only a matter of time before they get their way and remove this thread.

Check with your doctor.

Read the TOS:
"You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this BB to post any material which is...sexually oriented..."

You can't discuss "adult matters" here. Everything has to be at a Disney level. Remember the Christmas Tree episode? Adding "Santa's little helper" to the water dish...they wouldn't even describe what it was or what it "cured".

You can't even discuss 9/11 here. Their website, their rules.

Quoted from the Mayo Clinic's website (in regards to a low sperm count):

Avoid the heat. High body temperatures have been shown to decrease sperm production. Avoid hot tubs, saunas and exposure to hot weather. Tight fitting shorts or prolonged laptop computer use also may increase the temperature of your testic|es, decreasing sperm production.

After two years of trying, perhaps you should listen to the other side of the conflicting reports; the one stating that heat will reduce sperm count.

The thing about this myth is that it's safe to try at home. Good luck and let us know when you knock her up. Wink

That's right... myths involving such "adult matters" belong in the "Historical Fact" section. Wink
