I have not been able to find a swim top that would support and cover – I am a Full 34DD – I wear between a 6 & 8. My tata’s are real so they tend to be more heavy, I watched the Today show on June 27th and you did have a gal on there showing larger breast suit however she wasn’t that big. HELP. I want to be able to go swimming with my daughter without having to wear a suite rather than my bra. Where can I find a suit?

Bad news first--this is NOT going to be cheap. A DD is just on the edge of 'larger cup' sizes, and ilibaby found some cute things at Target. But I wouldn't count on it, and I certainly wouldn't swim in it. But I am a 32G.

Try Bravissimo, or at least get an idea of what brands they stock, and see if someone in your area stocks them as well. I have this, but in the beautiful aqua with brown trim they stocked last season. It is the best swimsuit I've had in about 25 years.

A good specialist lingerie shop (not Victoria's Secret) may also stock fuller cup/smaller band swimwear. It's hard if you're large-busted but not a plus-size (I wear a UK 10/US 6 in skirts, so I am definitely not 'plus').

With swimsuits, color and pattern are most important when camoflauging a problem area. I would suggest a solid, darker color on top, and lighter color or pattern on the bottom, to draw the eye to the curves of your hips and legs, and away from The Girls. Have you considered a two-piece suit? This will allow your to get a seperate size in top and bottom, and also to mix and match.

try figleaves.com, where you can search for swimsuits by bra size. Both my my suits are bra-sized, and they fit me like a dream. The support is great, too - I even have one with an underwire, but it's completely undetectable to anyone viewing (because it is separate from the actual suit material - hard to explain)

So I am an hourglass and just a bit smaller than jwurmy. I know realize I have 2 suits -- 1 a tankini and 1 a 1-piece -- that both have a color block design. This vertical line helps break up the line of the bust. Both have wider straps and not too low a scooped neckline so are great for swimming.

I also have a 2-piece I got at Target in February. The top is a halter with wide approx 1.5 inch straps. It is totally adjustable to both fit my small band size and give enough support from the halter. There are accents of matte silver rings above the cups. The rings plus the V neck line draw the eye upwards. I found the top in marine blue. The bottom is a print with the same blue plus lime and coral on a white background. The bright busy pattern also helps draw the eye downwards. I am not afraid to wear this into the water and the support equals a 1-piece but it is not for serious swimming, only because it theoretically could come untied. I would not wear it if playing with a young child who might untie it!
