I am considering buying a copper colored sequin pencil skirt from JCrew and can't decide of a good color top to wear. And shoe color? Should I just wear a plain top and layer necklaces since the skirt has enough going on already? Please help

Is it in a few weeks (November) or is it in December or January? If it's this month, I think copper is a great fall color and can be worn with orange, if that works with your skintone. To me, orange and copper say "fall", and I wouldn't wear that combination too close to the Holidays or in January.

Ithink black looks nice with copper, but try to find out how the bride would feel about black at her wedding. The bridesmaids at the most recent wedding I went to wore black dresses, so I felt perfectly appropriate wearing a black and white skirt with a black swing jacket.

For me, personally, I try to wear dresses to weddings. In my everyday life, I wear jeans every day (I work in a casual field, in a casual office, and I live in the Mountain West, which is quite casual and outdoorsy). I like to wear something a bit more feminine for weddings.
