I just bought a long tank top with deep-round neck on back.
Its so deep that bra shows up.Please suggest me different ways to hide it so that it doest look cheap.

I dont want to wear petals(bra replacement)

Strapless bra? One with clear straps (those may look shiny, though)?
Edit: Reread and I'm confused: is it the straps showing up or the back of the bra itself?

Have you tried 'Strap Perfect'? Its a little sliding thing that fits on every bra and pulls the straps together so on a rounded back or racer-back type shirt the straps wont show...its available at many retailers like Target, CVS or Walgreens for around $10.... it works really well!

If the br@ itself shows, you may need a br@ that is cut lower or wear another tank beneath this one.

I have one that does that too... I only wear it layered with a sweater or second shirt, so you can't see.

miltonia17-its not shoulder straps but back of bra itself shows up because of low-cut of top from back.Since it a party dress,i cant do layering(i guess)
What do you guys say?

Laurie-i own a packet of 'strap perfect'..its really goood but here i have to hide back strap.

In a store I saw a backless bra-it had only front part and i have no clue ,how its going to stay.
I would rather try to find low-cut bras and see if they are comfortable.

FashionB, Im sorry I didnt read your post correctly- my sister was yammering away at me on the phone while I was reading it. I wish you luck finding a lower-cut bra- they can be really hard to find! Since it is a party dress, do you think a pretty lace cami might work? Just a idea....

I had something at one time that was like a strapless bra, but covered much of my stomach as well so the band was very low in the back. I don't know exactly what it is called.

Any decent sized department store will carry those "backless" or very-low-in-back bras for low cut gowns. I purchased one at Macy's.

FWIW, I didn't find that Express tank dress (assuming it's the one in your other thread) to show my bra. Is it really noticeable? As in, could you just wear a typical strapless bra with the band pushed slightly down and pin your dress to the strap so that it won't peek out through the evening?

cynicalstar-Yes ,It is the same tank dress .I tried it on in store,it was very much visible .

I like your idea of pinning it with bra and would try once i get it(ordered shipping). It might work .I am afraid the fabric of tank top is delicate.
