I'm wearing this:

It's actually very warm....I typically wear only shorts and a t-shirt under it, even in 30 degree weather.

The red bow-tie is really a statement piece, so be sure to keep your jewelry minimal.

lol! I love it!

It looks like we'll all be staying home tomorrow. (sigh) My husband & I were planning on going as Ward & June Cleaver.

I saw some great Halloween costumes at a party last night! I had a series of events after work, so I didn't dress up much - just added a red cape over jeans/white shirt, and tied my hair into pigtails (little red ridding hood)
The BEST costume I saw last night:
pajama pants
baggy t-shirt
denim jacket
flip flops
big hair
full make-up
Wal-Mart shopping bag

My boyfriend and I are dressing up as Angelica and Chuckie from the Rugrats, and our cat is Reptar . I'll be sure to post pictures of us later!

...and remember, whether you're a good witch or a bad witch, it's all about the shoes :-)

I'm going to be a strawberry and get together with my friends who are bananas, grapes, apples, and oranges. We're fruit salad!

I'm pregnant - and you just triggered a craving. It's raining and my husband just got back from the store with a pizza - I have to break into my son's Halloween candy and hope there's something fruity in there - I can't send him back out.

omg - fruit salad.

Have fun to all of you getting into costumes this year!

I put more energy into our Halloween setup tonight - our street has several homes converted into multi-unit dwellings, so kids don't often come door to door -- so we set up a table on the front lawn with candles, candy, and several of us in lawn chairs all around - and we ended up having a couple dozen kids, so that was a big success!

I just wore normal clothes and added some really heavy eyeliner and dark, dark lipstick Smile

Oh wow Steph, how COOL! You two look great Smile

Because both of my kiddies are still recovering from the flu, we ended up staying home last night. They begged to wear their costumes all day though, and my daughter asked if she could share hers. She is doing an entire year's study based on the Little House books, so we made a Laura Ingalls costume for her to wear this year - complete with bonnet that "hangs down the back, by the strings" and barefeet. She's a natural blonde, and insisted that we dye her hair brown too - so here she is as a temporary brunette.

Thank you, HSM! Your daughter looks adorable too! And her brown hair looks much more believable than my sprayed "blonde" hair. Smile

My little boy went as a "scary monster dinosaur." Smile

The best costume I saw was a "dead bride". A girl in a girl-sized dress-up wedding dress with fake bullet holes glued on her face. ROFL

I saw a little boy, maybe not quite 3 in a pirate costume, and I got him to say "Arr matey!". Big Grin
