I really enjoyed the last ep but first I want to discuss the second to last ep. Oh Bea! Why oh why did they let poor Bea go on and on asking the famous photographer what is grandmother’s name was and then she lamely says (after he says just a first name). }I don't know her”. Sigh. Poor Bea. I was so embarrassed for her.
Anyway onto the finale.......
I loved the last ep. it got me teary twice (during the goodbyes) and I adored seeing the final three together in the Caribbean. They were so happy and kind to each other and appreciative of what they were getting a chance at. And while they are all still green, they performed like troopers. Go Abby, Lucy and Val!!!!
Oh and the photographer calling for Karl incessantly was pretty funny. Love when he asks Karl if the water will ruin the make up and Karl sort of just says ‘Yes but go ahead’ in this very sarcastic voice and the photographer just happily sends the girls into the water
One thing I really loved and have to admit I was totally shocked by was that they sent Angelika packing. The girl does take good photos. BUT I am really excited they chose to show that a bad attitude is not acceptable just because you are pretty and can take a good photo (hear that Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell?). Way to go next! I had thought for sure Bea was the one they were turning away.
I wish they had a close up of the head of The Next Agency's face when the Marie Claire editor told the girls she was so happy they weren't too thin like most models. Ha! Take that Next management who want little sick insects for models.
Michelle is on the UK site. Abby is on the EU site and under new faces for UK. I wonder if she is based in England and she and Michele get to see each other a lot.
I do NOT see Bea is not on the Miami website. Now this is troubling: I can't find Lucy or Valera on any Next site at all!
