Am I the only one or does this girl irritate anyone else. Even in her Bio and Qand A she comes across as an arrogant know it all...not a self confident young woman...but a bratty full of herself creature.
I think she is a no it all. Wants everyone to think she knows it all and has done it all. If that was true then why is she there competing. She has a gloomy personality and seems to be a very unhappy and unfriendly person. She needs to wash her hair also.
Who are all you people? She is the only girl on the show who has a personality and a sense of humor! Her Q & A is hilarious. Maybe that is lost on all of you.
I too found Angelika to be a bit arrogant...I fail to understand why it is that she has agreed to be on a show to help her get a contract with the modeling agency if she has already done it all...obviously she does not (in her own words) need the help or the suggestions on posing, walking, the help of an established supermodel as her mentor, etc... Please excuse yourself from the show and allow someone else to partake in the experience, maybe they will actually appreciate it...
Well this 'people" happens to believe that rudeness is not a substitute for a personality... and crassness is not a substitute for wit... as far as things being "lost" on this "people" there is nothing subtle or satirical about her Q&A only flipant and smart alecky....

She has the typical California attitude but is much more spiritual and calm. I think she is a beautiful girl who is perfect for this show.
Angelika may have come off a bit unsocial in the beginning but she's got a completely different personality from the other girls. If I remember correctly she's been through a lot growing up. She's not close with her parents and she doesn't even have a place of her own instead she stays with friends sleep on their couch. She has yet to reveal much about her childhood, not that she will since she seems like a private/mysterious person, she had obviously gone through some tough times that surely toughen her up. In my opinion she's mature beyond her age and one of my favorites.
OMG! I am so happy that they are sending her home! I understand that she thinks she knows what she is doing - I'll admit it, she is good model, but she is new to a highly competitive industry, until she becomes someone she needs to shut her mouth and do as she is told. Grrr
Wow. Angelika's getting sent home. Not surprising. I mean who wants to employ someone who doesn't have enough sense to not diss the profession that's gonna pay her big bucks on camera? I mean, yeah she has skills but so do many others. She's not that unique. The fashion world isn't holding its breath for an Angelika. Stupid stupid girl.
This young girl has a huge chip on her shoulder.. she keeps saying how she knows it all & she talks back to her employer!! How tacky.. esp. since they are giving HER an opportunity. In the last episode she says that this whole modeling thing is a big joke; then in the previews for the next episode you see her begging to stay! What for? She knows it all, she's fabulous, she can get a job w/ anyone! What a shame! This sour grape needs to go home immediately
Angelika does irritate me. She is constantly talking about how she knows everything. Well, then why are you on the show? Also,she knows nothing about professionalism. If she did, she would not be talking back to the man who has the power to take away the amazing opportunity she's been given. On the other hand,I admire how outspoken she is. There's something about her that is completely intriguing and sets her apart from other girls.
Angelike won't end up going. This is "reality" TV and they need her on there to keep things edgy and keep people watching - she makes for good drama. Plus, she does photograph really well. I wouldn't mind seeing her go - but people wait around for what she'll say next (no pun intended). I'm betting she stays on. (And her observations about the industry are kind of interesting really - not what I'd say about my employeer but I'll bet a lot of us would have liked to at one point or another
She needs to go. She is disrespectful to her peers. She talked to them badly last night and just talked like they was below her and she knew better than them. She needs to go but they will give her another Chance I bet. She is such a brooder all the time and calls the model world stupid. I say get on and let someone win this who wants to learn.
Buntailia48... it is funny you should say that about the California attitude... I got a job offer to go to California and turned it down because of Californians attitudes. I find some Californians intolerable including this model who thinks that modeling is a "joke". Well the joke is on her, she is gone. So much for her California attitude.
they'll probably give her a second chance and keep her on. She's good reality tv cos people are hating on her because of her bad attitude while at the same time, she's a great model and photograph very well.
by the way, how many contracts are giving out by Next? only one? if so, they already posted the winner on their website.

You obviously know nothing about working in an industry--ANY industry. You do not give a client attitude, you do not give your boss the what-for.. and above all else, you do not give the impression that you think the industry you work in is "a joke" (her words). Even if it IS a joke, even if you truly believe that, you never, EVER let the people you work FOR know that.
Angelique is beautiful, she photographs well, and her spunk comes across in her photos--but she is impossible to work with. She gives people who have been in the industry FIVE TIMES longer than her problems. She tells them how it is as though she knows. How long could she have worked so far? Five years, tops?

A sense of humor is great, but not a requirement in this business, and in this situation it's more damaging than it is helpful.
Just because she photographs well doesn't mean she has the leeway to mouth off, dictate to magazine editors, and get in a contest with the co-owner of Next. She seems to think that her looks and skill in front of the camera give her that right, but they DON'T. Maybe once she's paid her dues she can act like a diva (MAYBE!) but she'll never get there .
Lets say there are a MILLION girls who are beautiful enough to be a model. Perhapse 10% of those women have the talent to be a good model (poise, presence in front of the camera, flexibility and attitude).. that amounts to 100,000 girls. 100,000!
She needs to realize she's not a big fish in this pond, and never will be if she doesn't change her ways.
I agree she probably won't leave, but that's a disappointment to me.

Angelika's attitude has nothing to do wih her being from California. I am a born-and-raised Californian and I wanted to step right through the screen and give her a piece of my mind, and put her in her place. What an ungrateful, disrespectable, arrogant little brat! It's common knowledge that one should never talk back to someone who is not only in a position of authority, but is trying to give her a leg up in a VERY competitive industry in which careers are short-lived. I was raised to repsect my elders [parents, teachers, bosses, etc.], and to know that even if you disagree with someone, there is a right way and a wrong way to express yourself without burning your bridges and alienating people. She must've been through a lot as a child, but the mature response would be to get some therapy to resolve her issues rather than take out her anger and bitterness on others. I truly hope she gets the help she needs - she seems very unhappy.

We simply do not waste our time with divas in spite of what fantasy you have been fed in tv shows and magazines. Time is money and its just not worth it. The Beverly Johnsons and Namoi Cambells are few.
okay you guys. Even though Anjelika is a little (actually a lot) arrogant, you shouldn't be talking like that abot her. think of how she'd feel if she saw this. the girl's definetely got potential but needs to learn when to use it. when you're being reprimanded, you should be respectful and keep your mouth CLoSED. even though she is going home, i thought she had a good chance of winning because i loved the way she modeled. you could see her personality through her photos and i think thats a good quality to have. she just needs to let OTHERS tell her how good she is. good job Anjelika.

Alright you might be right about that but the only reason she comes off like that is because people like you. You try to bring people down and show everyone there flaws to make yourself feel better... so yeah
Someone needs to learn how to construct a readable sentence if she expects to be able to hold a discussion. Actually one of the reasons I got out of "the business" was the shallow stanards of judgement. If someone would get her panties out of a wad and refrain from calling anyone with an opinon a "witch" or making baseless comments about someone's self confidence because they happen to voice a logical non emotional opinion about a contestant on a TV show; she may actully learn something herself.
achmaxima- "mature beyond her years?" are you kidding me? have you ever had a real, big kid job? do you think you'd get away with speaking to your boss the way she does? she's unbelievably IMmature and has a ridiculous attitude. it's always entertaining when she gloats about being a model for TWO WHOLE YEARS- please. she needs to get over herself, life takes more than a pretty face.
I can not believe how immature she is. It is like watching a little brat. She is self absorbed, thinks she knows it all and has no concern for anyone's opinions bt her own. It is ironic becuase she thinks of herself as a modern day hippie or earth child who is so caring and in touch. She happens to be very photogenic and can work a shoot extremely well, but her attitude is awful. I find her very much a hypocrite as well. She puts down modeling with every breath she can yet she is a model. She needs to own her choices. if she takes a job she should respect her bosses. You know, the people who pay her. If she chooses to be a model, she should stop bad mouthing the job and those around her. Seems to me she is swimming in self loathing but only directing it at those around her. She needs to grow up.
