Love the show and watch it all the time but you really must clean up. There is always stuff everywhere, it really is not safe for any size person to have to walk over and around piles of junk in every room. The kitchen is beautiful but I don't think I have ever seen it clean. John & Kate plus 8 is on right after little people and if they can keep a clean house with 8 kids anyone can! Give it a try you might like it! Your kids are too old not to clean up after themselves! ~ still a fan of the show.

We love the show also, but I have to agree the house is a wreck. There is no excuse for those kids not helping thier parents & keeping that house in order. Like another person mentioned the Jon & Kate plus 8's house is in much better condition & they have a bunch of "little" kids. Your show is on National tv & is an example for others since it is supposed to be reality. I dont want my kids or my grand kids to think that is ok. Maybe its trivial & not important to you but it bothers at least some of your viewers, I would be ashamed to show my house on tv in that kind of disorder. Apparently Zach was embarrased to bring his girlfriend home because you showed him attempting to straighten up before her arrival. Still a fan, interesting show. Just meant to be some constructive criticism. Keep up the good work & good luck!

I think they just need to have Clean Sweep come in and do something. That house is a health hazard. They need to spend a month cleaning up and throwing out. They need to line up dumpsters and just keep loading them up. Then follow it up with a major cleaning spree.

My daughter and I used to enjoy the show. But the older your kids get the worst your house gets. Instead of building more stuff outside, (that will turn into another pile of mess), why don't you try and work on the inside. No more remodeling until you clean up what you have. I know TLC pays you well for your show, so why not hire someone to clean it. I would be so ashamed for anyone to see my home that way.

Hi all. I’m a fan of the show just like most people here, so is my dwarf son and that is the key here. This show is about a dwarf family. It’s not about a dwarf house cleaning company. We watch this show to see how that particular dwarf family lives. We watch to see if there is anything we can learn from them, which is especially usefully when you have you own dwarf child. We’re not watching the show for cleaning tips or to make ourselves feel better because we might be able to clean better than they can. If you concern here is about how clean the house is go and watch a cleaning show, there are so many other concerns that this show brings up that are important. Have you ever considered how hard it is to find clothes for a dwarf or how about a bike? Have you ever thought of how you fit into society when you’re a dwarf, unless you are one, or know one, probably not. People, you’re watching this show to learn about the Roloff family so give it a rest. If yo don’t like the way they live go find some other family to criticize about cleanliness and leave this people alone.

Lexton... The house is messy and some people want to discuss it. It's obviously not something that you feel is worthy of discussion, but others do, so shouldn't they have the right to talk about it without someone telling them to stop?

Lex, we are here to discuss the show...not staying around to meet whatever standards you require in the area of observations.
We realize we are watching how 'one particuliar' family lives...and we can easily observe in a very disorderly environment. Not looking for cleaning 'tips' at all.
I can imagine it's not easy to find clothing.
However, I'm not sure how that equates to the R's having all their clothing in piles around the around the house, requiring them to sniff an article for degree of soil before donning it.

Telling people to turn it off is real way to help the R's with ratings, too!! Big Grin

I personally think that it doesnt matter, i mean, in reality, on any given day, are our houses clean? My husband and I work full time, with three kids at home and all their friends, so it is hard to keep it clean. Just because they are on tv, doesnt make it different.
Best to all.

For the person who said those of us without little people in the family wouldn't understand....you're right...I don't understand how the entire show is about little people doing the same things that a full size person can do, but they cannot clean??? It doesn't take much time to pick up after yourself...there's a difference between not having the time and just being lazy! They are blessed to have such a beautiful home, they can at least keep it descent. Isn't that what we try to teach our children?

A loving house doesn't necessarily mean a clean house. Not everyone is as neat as you would like. Most of us live in the chaos created by having a family and love and live in it. We clean when we can and most importantly parent all the time. We usually give up a clean home to have a happy one. The mess gets taken care of when it happens and when we can get to it as a family. We work with what we have and do not complain or discuss other peoples lifestyle in comparison to our own. That is what makes us unique and wonderful. The Roloffs live the life that they want to! We love them because they are real! (I completely get the mess, and it will never be perfect and I love that it won't be!)

I would just like to know why you people care if the house is clean or not? If it was a hazzard social services would have been over to their house. If you watch the show Amy had someone come over and organized the the house wiyh her. She was hoping it would help. Some people just are not organized.

Aspen... this goes way beyond lack of organization.

You might not care to discuss the mess, but others do. It might not even bother you that the house is messy, but for some it's hard to ignore since we see it week after week.

Hey, People I understand your situations on how people are not clean inside of their house or outside of their house.. However those people who is working for television show is part of the job they dont recommend them to clean the whole house they did one time.. when parent return their cruise.. does not mean that they must stay clean all the time but to impressed their parent fine, but however, not all the people out of the world who is not on television show has their own mind set up on how they want their house is to be mess or clean.. I have seen one area of the community has a disaster area that has not keep their yard and garage and all that are such a filthy mess.. I have seen and i felt so embarrassed but however you got to stop saying things like that to people or to "Little People and Big World" to clean up their acts.. its part of Life that people treated... its on how they effect on their daily life.. for those 8 kids things, they have their ability to do what they want... for those "Little People and Big World" has their own time, I am sure pretty much of time when they are not on Television show they do keep their house clean when they have time! PLEASE LEAVE PEOPLE BUSINESS ALONE!

Okay let's think about this. How can any of these chldren find order in their personal lives when there is no order in their home. The house appears to be in chaos constantly. The house is filthy, counters and tables are full of dirty dishes, papers, empty soda cans. Even though there is a dish washer, the sink is dirt and stinky. Instead of Amy being a buddy and in charge of every aspect of her children's lives, she needs to be the Mom and set boundaries, clean her house and make the kids participate in all of it.
