Talk about upheaval, this episode was the epitomy of it!
There is a dire need for an attitude adjustment in the Roloff household. Starting with a strong lesson in RESPECT! Surely seems to be lacking throughout. Makes my blood boil to observe a lot of what goes on there.
When I was growing up, there have been NO way I'd have spoken to my parents in the manner that Zach & Jake do.
Both of those KIDS are whiners and selfish. It is all about them and no one else. Particularly Zach...and Jake is following in his footsteps. I don't care what your stature is, there is absolutely no reason for the disrespect shown by Zach to his dad or his mom on occasion.
BUT, if it is allowed, what kid wouldn't take advantage.
And, too, the language in the episodes is declining as well. Seemingly going to a Christian school is quite a big deal with them but the words that I hear spouted by the kids and Amy contradict that aspect, too.
Thank heavens the house is looking better, not quite sure how anyone could exist in such chaos. I understand that Amy wanted to spend time with the kids, but come on, what lesson is being taught there...messiness is next to Godliness. For Pete's sake!
Good ole Matt keeps plugging away, providing for his family, continuing with his off the wall activities (which seem to give him an escape), and doing the best he can. I know that no one is perfect but he does try to keep some sort of order around there.
The kids need to start to take responsibility around the house and with life itself.
What's the big deal about the twins not having the grades to get into a college? For heaven's sake, it takes years and structure to get ready for it, NOT just the last few months of their senior year. Come on!!! Now it's a big deal.
Might be a good idea for the kids to be given jobs to do at home (and compensated occasionally) and not a bad idea to encourage the twins to get a job outside of the home. That's a great way to appreciate what they get rather than having their hands out and receiving whatever it is they want or expect.
Zach needs to clean up his act, he is a whiner and likes to come off as a know it all (which disguises insecurity), however, the treatment of his parents, in particular his dad is not to be accepted. Zach is totally hurtful. What is he going to do when he is on his own, if he ever is.
I don't care what stature a person is, no one has the right to treat people with no respect. Ultimately, you get what you give and if he doesn't straighten up, look out!
Jacob is not far behind. Zach is his role model.
Well, Matt ole buddy, keep up the good work, gotta hand it to you. Amy, you do a good job, too, but for heaven's sake, stand by your man.
Am finished watching the show, too hard on my blood pressure.
