On tonights show Amy stated Matt should leave the house & kids to her. What a horrible thing to say. She is in a marriage, they are his children and it is his home too. If she s not happy in her marriage but chooses to stay she should show more respect.

I can't beleive what a total slob Amy is !! I totally agree with Matt about more discipline with keeping that house clean. Those kids are not "kids" anymore too. They should now better by now !!!

She knows full well that is exactly what he does...leaves the house and kids to her..when he's got a 'project'. This episode he didn't have one and was very at loose ends...looking to something to occupy himself...I know everyone was glad he found the basement and Sven. It wasn small potatoes compared to a real Matt-Project...but worked for a few hours.

In last week's show Amy was making it more than clear that she is not happy and once the kids are gone she wants to travel & Matt can stay on the farm. Her attitude when it comes to her husband has become really bad. She is already gone and is just bidding her time.

I wouldn't leave anything to Amy. She has totally ruined those kids. They are lazy, rude, undisciplined and she doesn't realize that she has caused it.

Stacia you have to remember that for many years the house and kids WERE Amy's alone most of the time. Matt was traveling for work.

I joined tonight to vent about Amy's clueless-ness about how she is ruining those children! It's a shame. They both seem to be intimidated by the kids or afraid to get on the kids bad side. They need some parenting classes. So sad.

Amy, get a cleaning service! Beautiful home but a hot mess because she won't discipline her kids and she has no appreciation for her husband. She is so afraid!!! Did she forget she would not have kids without Matt. It's like that's all she wanted him for, to give her kids. Now she has no use for him. Go figure. She's so ungrateful!

I watched the same show and I don't remember anything about this comment from Amy. What I would really like to know if there is something going on with Amy and Matt. I hope not because it would be a shame if there was. Personnally I think both are good parents to their children. We are now living in the 21st century and raising children today is alot different when I was going up. These kids today are driven by technology today and I believe this is one reason why kids (no matter the age) don't know how to respond to parents, let alone people in general. Because they spend their time texting all day, verbalization is not a priority unless they really need something that is important to them. I don't know how much of this can be blamed on the parent, kid or society.

Remember that Amy and Matt have been together for at least 20 years. I believe "if" anything would happen between the two of them Matt would give her what she wanted. Furhter, I see something different when I watch the show. I see a Matt and Amy that seem to be "in love" with each other. And it's pretty normal for kids to side with parents, especially the one that gives them more freedom than the other. I know this happened in my family and I come from a large family. I don't think that I would take things so personal. And, spread rumors to the effect that there "might" be trouble in their marriage.
