My mom was going through a mid life crisis and decided she wanted to go with some of her coworkers to get a tattoo. I said that she wasn't going to get one if I couldn't. So on my 18th birthday 5 of us ladies, ranging in age from 18 to 52, got tattoos. Mine was designed by a wonderfully talented artist named Lars. I told him my goal in life is to grow stronger from everything I experience, good or bad. He came up with a conch shell. It's perfect, it's me, it's beautiful!
