Speed of light. Have a quarter mile stretch of every day lightbulbs spaced evenly all attached to the same switch and the highspeed camera is at the first light bulb shooting down the quarter mile keeping all lightbulbs in view then flick the switch and viola! Your capturing the speed of light at work at 5000 frames per second. Amazing. Please time warp it!

Drifting has become a popular sport in the racing scene... I thought a cool idea for the show would be to film the car outside along with the driver's reaction inside the car.

Was flippin through tv and saw Men in Black. Caught the part where Will Smith "beat-boxes" with Mos Def. Really make a good segment seeing someone beatbox in super slow-mo! The mechanics for the skill are awe-inspiring

"Exploding Arrows" Damaged carbon fiber arrows fired from a compound bow have a tendency to suffer catastrophic failure. Very dangerous for the person shooting it (everyone I know who's done it had to have surgery to remove the carbon splinters). I want to see this on high speed.

Take a peeled banana and dip it in liquid nitrogen. Then, umm... break it or something. But the freezing is the cool part

I would like to see a bullet Travel parallel to the surface of water, i think it would be very interesting to see how it breaks the surface without touching it.

I think it would be useful to demonstrate how DNA or proteins are separated based on size and charge in electrophoresis techniques. There are short videos demonstrating how DNA strands behave as strings and move through porous material as if in a maze -- I think the public could get a whiff of molecular science using this simple technique.
Another possibility related to this is to capture a virus capsid winding up DNA (or expelling it).
I'm unsure if your equipment can go molecular - but it would definitely help people understand the life sciences and forensic sciences.

I'd like to see strings on a piano and other instruments vibrating. Violins, violas, a cello. A double bass should show some nice results too. And a completely different idea! A door slamming shut might be cool. Or close ups of things ripping, like paper and duct tape. I like seeing things that eyes can't catch.

Just curious if you have tested the speed of someone sneezing to something comparable such as a pitcher throwing a strike or something like that.
