I have started watching your show regularly and I wondered...

What do you do with the material that is torn out that is still "usable"?

I work for the "City Of Houston ReUse Warehouse": www.houstonreuse.org. We take usable various material(brick, stone,trim, 2X4), fixtures, etc. and donate it back to the community to the Non-Profit Organizations. I truly enjoy being able to assist in the building of houses for veterans, the building of a facilities for the Boys & Girls Club, for the Handicapped, and for facilities for the stray animals to mention only a few.

If you happen to do a segment in Houston, please contact us through the website, as well as, possibly check with your city officials where ever you are building, just in case they have a similar program!!

I look forward to the day when my wife and I have the money in the bank to do a segment on your show. Between the two of us we have the capability/experience to repair/build everything from the foundation to the roof. The material would be 95% of the expense.
