She hasn't sold it after many weeks on the market, despite lowering the asking price.
Unbelievable episode. What on earth made her think she was qualified to flip a house? She couldn't even paint a wall, for God sake! Greed is such a great motivator, isn't it?
"If I can do hair, I can do this house!" Gotta be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard come out of a person's mouth.
I can't believe their are such people out there, so this was the icing on the idiot cake! She was too busy to talk to her contractor! There were so many things that I wanted to throw something at the tv. And why would anyone buy a house sight unseen. I'm getting mad just thinking about the episode. Better close this before I break my keyboard!
If ever there was an episode for "flipping don'ts" this was it! Like the above posters, I was flabbergasted to say the least by some of the stupid things that this woman said, but what really irritated me was when she complained about how slow things were going and how nobody showed any initiative, I thought, "geez lady, ain't that the pot calling the kettle black?"
Of all the episodes of property ladder I've seen, this is the ONLY one where I had absolutely NO sympathy for the flipper.
The first poster said it all. The budget shouldn't be simply what you can afford. And, like a lot of people on property ladder, she raised the price on the end because she dipped in to her profit.
Frustrating episode. Definitely annoying to hear someone figure that it'll be so easy to flip a house - with zero construction knowledge.
But, as usual, in the end she's "looking for her next flip."
