I always thought Flower and Mozart were close. I was suprized that she didn't come back to the group. Flower was good most of the time about letting the girls back in. I think she would have been a good dominant just like her mother. I will miss her.

I agree with you 100%. Yes, we need to have a special memorial for our little girl. She deserves her place here for all to write about. I wanted to tell everyone on the other sites what was to happen, but of course I did not. These people are going to be so very upset as they are all rooting for her to survive. But we know it is not to be. Yet, Mozart holds a very special place in my heart. I was always on her side as she continued to be left behind. I guess I always feel so much more for anyone who suffers so much...especially animals.

I agree Christopher it is so sad I have always loved Mozart. I know I for one will not be watching reruns for the next six months to many deaths once is enough for me. This has been a very strange season...

I have just now started to NOT cry each time I read/think about Flower. Now it is starting again and I feel that it will be worse as Mozart has been alone for so long with no one really to be there for her. Except us, of course. We are always there for our girl.

Aa I've stated so many times on this board; Flower had it all and strived for nothing, Mozart strived for it all and got heartbreak.

I feel that on Friday there will be oceans and oceans of tears falling for Mozart. I've read on the other boards (not spoiler) and there are so many out there that have no idea what's in store for Mozart. Unlike the passing of Flower when they aired the commercials I think everyone kind of knew that it would be Flower. But to actually see it is what shocked people.

In the case of Mozart I think everyone thinks things are looking up for her because she was shown so prominatedly in the last episode. Oh I fear what their reactions will be when this weeks episode airs.

Personally I haven't stopped crying about it since I first learned of Mozarts passing.

I always rooted for her hoping she would find her place either with the Whiskers or in a family of her own, but fate was not kind to our poor Princess.

May she find comfort in the arms of her family over the Rainbow Bridge and may she never have hunger or feel cold.

To date they still don't know for sure about either of them. Shakespeare is my #1 Mozart my #2, Tosca my #3, and Flower #4.

There's no proof that Shakespeare is dead and until there's a body I will keep hoping he's out there as a DM of his own mob.
Regarding Tosca I don't think they ever found a body at least that I'm aware of, they just assumed that because she was alone she probably died.

But look at our Mozart she survived for many years on her own.

We can only keep hoping that Shakespeare and Tosca return to the Manor. I think that would be the only thing to comfort us at this time after losing both Flower and Mozart.

Remember we want to start a Memorial for Mozart come Friday when the episode airs. So in order for mod_kelly to appease our begging we need to let her know that Mozart deserves to have her own Memorial site for everyone to pay their respects.

So lets start writing this way she will see that Mozart is #1.
The more postings there are about Mozart will be our way of showing mod_kelly just how much we love her.

Mozart....my sweet girl. I can't belive that we have to say goodbye to yet another beautiful 'Kat on Friday. I don't think I'm ready for this. You tried so hard to be what everyone needed. You were there for Shakes and Carlos...and for Kink in her final moments. You were there to watch the pups, there to offer comfort to anyone who needed. You tried so hard to be accpeted and loved. But what you didn't know is that we loved and accepted you from the moment we first laid eyes on your sweet face. RIP my sweet girl.

Friday will be the worst day in Meerkat Manor as far as I'm concerned. As I've said time and time again Mozart was the bravest Meerkat on the Kalahari. Nothing was handed to her on a silver platter. She had to fight everyday just to survive, yet she never gave up looking for that one kat that would love her and accept her for who she was. It just breaks my heart that it turned so tragic for her.
She was tougher than Flower and I feel she would've been a great DF, after all Flower had an entire family to back her up and Mozart only had herself. So she showed everyone that she wasn't gonna go down easy.


Again I say WHY, Why, Why dear Mozart couldn't you find a bolt hole to hide in for the night. She should've know better than being out in the dark afterall the time she spent alone. I can't let her go it's just to hard to think that after all her struggles she had to die that way.

Well, I'm crying now. I have known for a while now that Mozart wasn't going to make it, but after reading so many of the messages here, the tears are already rolling down my face in anticipation of the agony I'm going to feel when I watch this Friday's episode. Saying goodbye to Mozart will be so hard. I know what is going to happen, and I already know I'm going to get upset when it does. I too hope there will be a memorial forum for her.

When they describe her as resilient, they had it right on the money. She certainly was. I have never gotten so caught up in a drama as the drama unfolding on Meerkat Manor. I see a lot of familiar names at these forums so I know I am not alone. I will reserve my thoughts about Mozart for her memorial forum for now. But I can definitely say she was a true Princess!

I'm going to be heartbroken about what happens friday too but I believe Mozart is going to be with Flower and all those who have passed before her. And, I think, we too, will be able to see her again after we cross over that bridge ourselves. I hope so, anyway.

A memorial for Mozart is a great idea. Like a lot of people, she was one of my favorites along with Flower, Shakespeare,and Zaphod.

Awesome christopher969 these words are so true for our little kat.

Last night on one of the sights I read that Wilson died within 2 months of being with Mozart, which leads me to believe that she was infected with TB and passed it on to him and he in turn probably passed it on to his family.

So sad, so very sad.

Sadly, I believe that you are correct. Poor little guys. Bless their hearts. I am at such a loss. Tomorrow night will be so sad. I can barely hold it together. Yet, we need to pay tribute to our little princess and I for one will be there for her. Check list: BUY MORE KLEENEX!!

I think we'll each need at least a case of Kleenex, 280 count boxes.

I was thinking about it when I began to wonder if maybe, just maybe Mozart was already dead when the jackal came upon her.

Maybe the stress from the fire, the weakness from the starvation and seeing her family the Whiskers fighting with her new loves family the Commandos was more than her little heart could take. Lets say like a version of Romeo and Juliet she died from a broken heart.

I would rather think that she died from a broken heart then she was killed by a jackal.
The jackal may have taken a bite of her but not actually caused her death. Afterall remember no one was there to witness it and no autopsy was done on her.

Meerkats don't stay above ground after dark which is why I feel she must have already been dead when the jackal found her.

But then maybe I'm just kidding myself to try and deal my heart a little less pain. But I guess we are all entitled to seek some sense of closure when the obvious is too hard to handle.

Either way the Princess of the Kalahari has gone on to join the Queen over that Rainbow Bridge.

RIP our beautiful, resilent, always caring, bravest, but most of all loyal companion to all.

Meerkata: Ah..I think the same way you do. Since Flower died I have what if'd myself to death. That is why so many people had so many theories. I think maybe Mozart was already dead too. If the jackel got her then it would have been worse. Maybe this is not Mozart and they are just showing us a meerkat so we can put closer on her. Here I go another theory. Does not bring her back darn it. Anyway I am glad that she is in a better place. So sad that so many deaths had to occur. The commercial is pretty scary for tomorrow night. Luckily we know what happens. Some people do not know. I feel for them.

Yes, yes, yes! Mozart deserves a tribute board to be put at the very top! i took a break from the boards, but when i read "you were always on my mind" song, the tears started again. The other song was also very sweet. And i think you all are right. We just can't stop thinking of every which way Mozart could have done something to stay alive. Because we want her to be there. I'll definitely be hoping her children come up in season four. And I'm not sure that I'll keep coming to the spoiler boards--not sure it has made it any easier--
but then again, there is always interesting conversation on the spoilers.

I don't know how I can thank you properly for this beautiful large picture of Mozart!!!!!!! WOW. It's stunning. I don't mean to doubt, but are we sure it's her? (please, please, somebody say yes) I have google searched for her picture and haven't found anything even close to this gorgeous. (I may have seen a small version of it without the name, and I didn't want to guess.)

Did you know the TCB book doesn't even have Mozart's picture (or Shakespeare's or Tosca's or...) in the back of the book in the section with profile "mug shots" of each pup in Flower's litters?? TCB should have asked you for a copy of this one.

This is a wonderful gift I will treasure. I just changed my PC background from a photo of Rocket Dog and some of the Whiskers to our beautiful and beloved Kalahari Princess Mozart. The image is so large that even blown up, I can still see each little whisker and hair. People are going to be overjoyed to get this.

Give us strength tomorrow night... krazymeerkats, I agree with you -- I will not be able to watch S3 again for a long time. I just bought S1 & S2 and watched the first disc, which is delightful! Like watching videos of dear friends.

Tomorrow I need to get out my box of kleenex with lotion to prevent a raw nose. We'll get through it somehow. I'll see you on the memorials and candle lighting. Posting tributes somewhat comforting.

Tonight is the night we say goodbye to our little princess. I want to see her one last time, being happy with Wilson. That will be so tounching. Imagine, Mozart actually finding some happiness. The last part will be very depressing. We all love these little animals so much and the special one's, such as Mozart, are even more hard to handle when they pass on. We will get thru this together as we did with Flower. Wow, it was almost one month ago that we were here talking about her last episode. I really believe that time is the healer here, and of course all of Mozart's fans help too. She has many people who love her and it is so well deserved. Rest In Peace Little One. We love you today, tomorrow and always.

I am glad I know what will happen tonight. It would be harder for me not to know about Mozart. I am just that way I guess.
While I am so sad about what happens to her, I plan to celebrate the short life she lived.
I see her in my mind, holding the pup's close to her heart like a protective mom, when she was just their sister. Feeding them, babysitting, keeping danger away from them. I see her with her brother Shakes, comforting him. I see her with Carlos, right by his side as he was dying. So many memories of Mozart.
Most of all I will see her fight for life so many times, and never give up, trying to make things better for herself. She is a winner because many others didn't make it as long as she did. Mozart tried and she kept trying to the very end.
Tonight I will watch and cry over a little meerkat, who touched my heart. I will also remember what a brave beautiful meerkat she was. Any gang would be lucky to have her, as part of their family.

I too will watch her tonight, and celbrate her life and mourn her passing. She and her mother will make for a blessed pair of angels watching over us all.
