I was mad at first just like you are! You just need to look at it this way: Mozart is with all of her dead pups now and forever and the two rivals are no longer competing for the top spot. They are once again a part of an close family. As for Hannibal: He may not be evil but he did destroy a lot of families by killing the babies. Which I understand is a part of nature and makes the Commandoes a stronger meerkat group.

It's nature, everybody was mad at Kinkajou when she did that to poor Mozart(may she rest in peace) and her pups(may they rest in peace). But they are animals, they don't know what they are doing. Don't you think if they thought like us all of the meerkats would be united as one and nobody would ever be rivals? But it's nature at it's cruelest, but I still think the researchers or crew could have at least thrown a rock at her to scare her.

Kinks was just doing what meerkats do. She doesn't mean to be cruel. She just has to do what a meerkat has to do to survive! I don't believe in being mad because a meerkat did what came natural, and you're right about Hannabil too. He loves his family, I think, and he appears to be awful because we're pulling for the Whiskers. Look at it this way: If the show was about the Commandoes, we would all love Hannabil and hate Flower. Okay?

If you're mad at Kinks, don't post about it here! This board is strickly to mourn the loss of the meerkats and to honor them! Beleive it or not, infanticide is more common among meerkats than the show leads you to beleive. Especially with meerkats battling to be DF. Kinks was just exhibbiting normal meerkat behavior, you can't stay mad at her for that.

Yeah! Meerkats are just animals, meerkats do what they gotta do. Kinkajou was loved from the beginning till the end, even though some of us(me)didn't notice she died. After seeing the episode all over again I understood, and it's true why did Mozart's pups have to face what she went through it's a good thing they never knew what starvation was.

Kinkajou was just doing what meerkat females do in order to help their own babies survive. As sad as it is for us to see or hear about, it's very common meerkat behavior. I just read about one DF who ate 5 litters.

I was very sad when Kinkajou died. To see her shivering with fever and to know that she was suffering and hungry, how can you not be sad?

hmph. Nobody disses anybody because of their favorite meerkats, Nikita and Hannibal are so strong and they have a good group on their side. But all of them are meerkat lovers and if we love one doesn't mean we don't like all of the other ones! Meerkat lovers united!

Look at it this way: if Kinks didn't eat the pups, then Mozart would have been domonant, and, because she was a bit weaker, the Starsky could have died a long time ago.

Hannibal is not creepy, he's shmexy! Naw,Just kidding, he's as adorable as any of the other meerkats. It's just that he has one eye! That's all,but on top of that he is a faithful male, never heard him run off with another meerkat that isn't Nikita. ^_^

Those little babies didn't have to worry about dying from TB, at least. Kinkajou may have saved others by doing what seemed cruel and heartless. Those pups didn't get a chance to spread the disease.

Dlfngrrl, Yes she did. She had T.B. and it was very sad to watch. I loved Kinkajou, just like I love them all. ALL the females trying to get in a dominant postion, do away with each others pups. Its meerkat society.

That was sad but ultimately Kinks and the rest are animals and this is what they do as morbid as that sounds. I did feel terrible when Mozart went into the burrow to look for her pups. Mozart was my favorite of all time so I was devastated to see that. But I did not hate Kinks for it. May she rest in peace with the rest of her family. After all, Mozie forgave her as she stayed by her side til her death.

even though kinkajou ate poor mozart's pups i cant be mad at a meerkat thats why my name is meerkatlover i guess i could say i was dissapointed but kinkajou was still sweet, and we should all remember she has passed on as well as her step-sister and her pups and she deserves our respect, i mean it's not like she is the first to do that

plus we all have to remember how poor kinkajou died cold and hungry... but she didnt die alone she had her step-sister by her side the whole time keeping her warm i love them both so much

Well in reality Kinks actually died of TB. I'm glad of that because the thought of her starving and freezing was just unbearable for me until I found out the truth. Regardless, Mozie stayed by her side.
