You will be missed, Rocket Dog. You did not have much of a chance as you were taken from us way too soon. You are now with your mom and Mozart and life in the Kalahari will move on, but it will be so hard to know that we will not get to see you come into your own. Your legacy is now with your children and may they grow up to be as wonderful as you were and to have long healthy lives. You really did deserve to be DF. You would have been wonderful, just like your mom. Now another short journey has ended.

May we all find comfort in the memories of you and may they help to guide us to a place of calm, peace and understanding.

It isn't listed on FKMP yet because the new reports aren't out yet. Pronker made the announcement in the friends section of FKMP and here in the spoiler section. Look for the thread Sad News, started by Pronker. She didn't want to keep this news private until the reports are ready so she shared it early. Rocket Dog was killed in the road a few days ago. Very sad news.

Oh no....... I can't deal with another tragic death! I just can't!!!

Also, where did Pronker find it out?

Evi, Pronker and Lil E are the ones who run FKMP. Evi is in frequent contact with the researchers and she was told earlier in the week about poor Rocket Dog. Evi then told Pronker and Lil E and they all decided to share the information with us. Such sad, sad news.

Rocket Dog, RIP, beautiful. You have no more worries or stress, now you can enjoy the afterlife with you family in heaven.

I'm a complete mess today. I can't get over that RD is gone. I think I'm going to leave work early, my co-workers keep looking at me like I'm crazy They just don't understand how these beautiful little guys have touch my very soul.

I just learned about this tragedy from my other Meerkat Manor group. She died too young! My little shoe as I liked to call her... she, who had Flower's unique bravery and beauty! Our little Maxim beauty gone! Each death just tears at my heart... I don't know if I want to watch the next season. All I can say is thank God that Zaphod is still alive.... Rest with your family little one.

I know, this news totaly devastated me. I had high hopes for Rocketdog. I'am still angrey, although I realize accidents happen, and I dont blame anyone at all.

Rocketdog was a true petal off of her dear mother, Flower.

I will miss you Rocketdog, you will always be in my heart, along with our other fallen, precious kats. R.I.P. Beautiful Girl.
