It is NOT they're place to interfere. PLEASE stop making them look like the bad guys. They are doing this so we can learn how these animals live, and if you keep this up there won't be a season 4! This forum has become a tangled mess, so PLEASE STOP!

cinderella524 Your poem is such a beautiful tribute to the most caring meerkat in the Kalahari, our sweet, kind and unselfish Mozart.

Mozart had such a tough life, albeit a short one, and I am glad that she will no longer suffer anymore. Life isnt always fair, and her life was full of unfairness. After 3 seasons of Meerkat Manor, we all now have a good idea of how these animals live. They are family oriented animals and they live short lives filled with sorrow and heartbreak. Now, onto the real reason I am writing. Season 4. Season 3 was filled with sadness and many of the episodes contained the death of a beloved meerkat. The real reason people started watchng this show is because of the animals themselves that were broadcast into peoples living rooms. The death of these same animals will be the eventual reason this show will stop running. Animal loving people, the kind that watch shows like this, do not want to see the death of animals, especially animals they have become fond of. Televised death = ratings death = End of Show.

Mozart, you were inspiring to all. Though you had to go it alone, you were very strong willed and full of life. You have inspired me to keep my chin up and remain focused on my life.

In Memory and to Honor our precious Mozart:
Despite all the many painful heartaches, isolation, loneliness, and suffering endured in her too-short life, brave little Mozart showed her family and her fellow Kalahari meerkats loyalty, caring, and love, and with the final beat of her beautiful heart, this little angel on earth left us with her legacy of Unconditional Love.
May our sweet little girl now find the love she so-much always wanted, snuggling safe, warm, and happy with her dear ones in the Whiskers' Heavenly burrow.

Thats fine with me if theres not a 4th season. And they did interfere when they put down Big Si because he had TB. If no one was there, nature would have turned out different. If they are there to let nature take it's corse then why interfere then????? And this has become a series not a research program. In research they don't make them loveable charaters. It is very scientific. And what about the childeren that watched Flower and Mozart Die??? We have to question weather to let our kids watch.

Chelliegirl71, cinderella524, starskyfan, catitude924, and everyone else on this forum. I, too, am still crying over the death of Flower and, now, we lose precious Mozart. I have to say, I have been crying for a month now. I only hope the season finale doesn't leave us hanging with yet another death to possibly wonder as to who it will be. As Chelliegirl71 said "...you are all beautiful human beings..." and I, too, am very pleased to be in everyone's company as it helps to have someone who shares our grief for these dear little ones who have such a hard life in a harsh and cruel environment. As Thommiegirl said in another thread "...there has to be a silver lining in the Kalahari...". I hope so as there has been way to much sadness this season. Mozart, I hope you know that Wilson really cared for you as was shown in the grief on his face when he came to you and you were already gone to another "Kalahari" in heaven full of all the millipedes, scorpians, and other "goodies" so that you don't have to forage anymore. Now, you can watch over poor little Wilson, as you did everyone else, and keep him safe from harm. I know you are happy with your mom, babies (who you never got to raise... you would have been a wonderful mother), and brothers and sisters. Please watch over Zaphod, my tears flow each time I see him wandering around as a roving male all alone as you were when you lost your sisters. Zaphod deserves to be happy, also, as did you but you never got that chance.
Rest well, precious little one. You are sadly missed.

Mozart was so sweet, and I loved her...when she was left alone with no family, I just wanted to go get her and adopt her into my "mob". When I saw the preview for this week's episode, I was optimistic and thought that Mozart would be okay. I was really rooting for her. I was fortunate enough not to be able to see her body clearly...my heart was breaking enough just knowing she had died so tragically. What is it with this season? All of my favorite babies are dying.

The desart is a crewl and evil place and now Wilson knows that to.But I dont think that Zaphod dies Echobird.Cause you said Rocketdogg was a boy and domanate male. And Zaphod is a VERY experianced meerkat he was born aroung the 2000s like Flower maybe before that time.

I, too loved Mozart. It seems that she never had a chence. Just when things were starting to look up for her, she died. She truly was the Princess of the Kalahari & a true Rosebud. I miss her as much as I miss Flower. I haven't stopped crying yet.

In reference to the death of Zaphod, someone on another thread just recently returned from the Kalahari and reported that Zaphod was just fine. Also, there is nothing anywhere except these posts from echobird who thinks Rocketdog is a male stating Zaphod has died. For now, I will not count on unsubstantiated information. We have all been through enough in the past few weeks with the deaths of Flower, Kinkaju and Mozart, we don't need anymore heartbreak.

chelliegirl71 I really enjoyed your post on Mozart's With Her Mom and I'm glad you started this forum. I signed Flower's book and next to Shakespeare, who I still cry about, Mozart was my favorite. How could she not be? Elton John's Candle in the Wind so reminds me of Mozart. People could learn alot from her.

Missshakespeare I posted on Mozart's with her Mom board about their geneology. I wish we could IM on this board or email. I was saying I thought Shakespeare, Mozart, Daisy, and Tosca were all from the same litter. You had mentioned Mitch and I also said on the show they always referred to Mitch as Flower's grandson so I thougth he was from Daisy, Tosca, or Mozart. If anybody's memory is better than mine and remembers, please chime in. Oh and to that moron that keeps saying Zaphod is dead. Consider the source.

You're right everyone . . . we sure do need a Mozart Memorial. I wish they'd do one special episode of Flower and her special moments and one of Mozart and her special moments. Yep, that's just what we need . . . and I don't think I could cry anymore than I have already . . . I'm so utterly drained with all these last few sad episodes . . .

I started a thread titled The Queen welcomes her Princess home on the Tribute board and a week ago started it on the Spoiler board. I had really thought they would have given her a Memorial site for us to post our goodbyes all in one area.
For reasons unknown they did not give her a Memorial board so posters are posting their feelings all over the different sites. You are all welcome to read the beautiful heartfelt words that are on my thread from numerous people. It really would've been nice to have all the postings in one area but unfortunetly we cant.

Sweet, sweet Mozart you were my favorite little meerkat. You never had it easy girl but you never lost your charm, compassion or love from those who banished you, fought with you or even those who took your little ones from your grasp.
I had truly hoped that one day you would experience motherhood and forming your own family as dominant female of your very own group. You were almost there precious one and I believe you gave it your all to the bitter end.
Flowers legacy was intended to live through you as you epitomized her strength and love of family. Of all the losses yours is the greatest.
RIP, sweet Mozart and may you find love at last in the Peace of God's Kingdom.
Mozart, you are missed.......

Sweet little princess so small yet so strong Strived for love and acceptance but something always went wrong.
Resilient little Meerkat always looking for love First Carlos then Wilson Her search ended when she was called from above.
She was needed in Heaven for her tender and caring ways But our tears will keep falling for many more days.
God needed our angel for she was loving and brave Mozart like Flower leaves one request please don't cry at my grave.

I loved Mozart too. She was always the sweet one. She stayed with Shakespeare when he was sick and she was always the one to be cast out. I am going to miss her!! I would love for there to be a memorial for her too. She was one of the best, just like her mother!

Please dont reply to questions like the on above. If it has NOT been aired as of NOW, do NOT post it here please. Go to the spoiler forum for this please!!! Thanks so much....
And in another thread, I suggested a bold move to really shut this whole forum down due to the horrible things being said to posters, as well the huge amount of NONRELATED topics that are rampent here...I suggest we open a new forum for memorial stuff, like call it MEMORIALS AND TRIBUTES TO OUR FALLEN FRIENDS

I am still reeling from last episode...I burst out crying and my husband got mad because I was so upset. Mozart was just the most beautiful meerkat inside and out. Her sweet face was still so full of love even after all she had been through. I'm not sure I can watch the show anymore. It seems like it dwells more on the drama and heartache than it did in past seasons. Mozart so deserved to have her moment in the sun, and now that hope is gone. I will remember her quiet strength and courage against so much adversity. GOD BLESS MY LITTLE MOZART!!

Hello everyone..It's me Mozart,
Please don't be sad by my dying. I am happy now. I have all of my relatives with me, my pups, who I never got to know until now, Kinks is here and Carlos who is busy being the Casanova of Heaven (his new title)....and of course, my mom. She and I have had a wonderful talk and we are just fine. Thank you, everyone, for thinking of me, for writing to me and caring so much for me. I never really thought anyone cared. How nice to know that I am appreciated. I do love all of you and I am looking down at everyone all of the time. I am also having a wonderful time with Wilson. He is my best friend and my partner. He is a really nice meerkat. Please be sure to support my family, the Whiskers, as they really need you. In closing, please be kind to Meerkata. She is really having the hardest time with my passing. Part of my journey has ended but someday we will all be together. I just went first as I was very tired and lonely. I am none of those things now. It is really quite wonderful here.
I Love All Of You, Your Friend Forever, Mozart

Forever engrained in my heart, Mozart, you are the Princess of the Kalahari.

Sean Astin's narration following the death of Mozart was excellent. Something along the lines of "the desert that nutured Mozart from the very beginning of life now holds her in a final embrace". A life story in one sentence. So sad, little one. Rest now, you're home again.

Those are such beautiful poems cinderella524 and meerkata, they really say it all. She will be missed by us all. I just want to add that Mozart and her kin have all helped to bring much needed attention to the plight of so many animals that are losing their habitats and that need our help to keep their habitats wild. What will happen if those wild lands are lost? So, let's all take our kind sentiments for the meerkats and contribute money to the World Wildlife Fund, the Kalahari Meerkat Project, and any other animal charities in Mozart's honor.
Also, no matter how many times we ask, some people will not follow the rules and will become trolls - saying mean and nasty things. That's why there's a moderator, to remove those comments from the threads so the rest of us can express our thoughts freely. So moderator...please remove spoilers/trolls from this thread!

I have been watching meerkat manner since season two. I know that this show is about life and death however, this past season there has been too much death. It is very sad. When I watched the "Graduate" I had know idea it would end the way it did. Mozart was my favorate meerkat. I cheered when Mozart and Wilson escaped the fire. I thought Mozart would get another chance of life with a family when she followed Wilson to his even if it was with the comandos. She survived so much in her short life. She was a very caring meerkat even when no one was the same to her. I will never forget her but I believe she is now in meerkat heaven with all her pups, brother and mother living a carefree life.

Mozart needs her own tribute site!!! She cared for Shakespeare, Carlos, and her sister in their times of need. It makes me sad that she died alone. My thoughts are with her and all the meerkats that are survivng out there on the Kalahari.
...She would of been a great dominant female, I always thought so, I just wish she could of got her chance to shine...if she would of been in the Whiskers when Flower died, I think she would of be in charge now. It seems like a meerkat has died every episode this season. Len and Squiggy, Carlos, Flower, Whoopie, Kink (I do not know how to spell it), and Mozart...I think that was all of them.

Hi everyone. I just joined the chat but have been a long time fan of Meerkat Manor, since Season 1. I've been reading your forum discussions and wnated to join in.
I think that there should most definitely be a Memorial thread for Mozart. I love them all , as you do, but Mozart had a special plac in my heart. She was just so wonderful in many ways and I wanted the best for her. I was hoping that she and Wilson who live on to be their own group and she would finally be happy, rather than lonely, scared, heartbroken and sad. She had too many things happen to her...yet, she carried on like the strong meerkat she was.
I was thinking that another chat with the producer would be great too, like he did for Flower. We could maybe get some of the answers we need. I would like to know what happened to Whoopi, was Mozart's ending recorded so we can really know what happened to her (not that I don't believe AP!)...just would be more closure if we truly know why she didn't go in her burrow at night...or while she was waiting for Wilson, did a predator sneak on her? It's just strange why she didn't go into the burrow at night and meet up with Wilson the next day. I'm thinking she was again, heartbroken, and waiting for Wilson. If she on;y went into the burrow as always, she would have known he wanted to be with her and they could have been together. It's just so sad...those words cannot even describe the loss I feel.

I posted this on another thread. I hope this story brings you comfort as it does me.
----------------------------------------- This is GOD's message to Mozart:
Why GOD, why did I have to die so early in my life? I feel like I didn't accomplish anything. I feel like a failure.
My little Mozart, you are not a failure, but there are few things that you don't know. I had to bring you home because you deserved it. You see, although I created it, the Kalahari can be a cruel, harsh place sometimes. And one day, it (the Kalahari) confronted me saying:
Mozart only loves you because you have given her everthing; a strong tribe with a loving mother and father, sisters and brothers to run and play with. But if you take away all those things, she will curse you.
No Kalahari, she won't, GOD said. Mozart will not curse me, for she is a strong little meerkat. I have given her a strong, meek, but stubborn spirit. Be that as it may, do to her what you will.
So as Mozart grew, she began to experience things that the Kalahari threw at her. She was evicted from her home numerous times. Several of her litters were either eaten by family or taken by predators. She had to live and survive on her own so many times. When her family turned against her, she in turn did not turn her back on them but comforted them as the Kalahari's cruel arm took them away from the earth.
She survived the floods, the rains, the scarcity of food, the wildfires and when it seemed that she found love, she found no love.
See Kalahari. You threw everything you had at Mozart and she, for a while, put up a good fight! She took a lickin' but she kept on tickin'. I loved her so much for her caring, sharing, kind, forgiving heart; that I thought she deserved much more than You, Kalahari.
She deserved me!!
She is home with me now and forever will be. Never to experience the harshness of the earth again.
Take your rest my sweet Mozart. Take your rest.

Season 3 has been a very very tough one to watch, and my heart really aches when I think of the ones that have become so special to so many. Thank you all for being here - you really help me to feel connected to a those that love these little ones, and grieve their passing.

Mozart, the sweetest purest heart of them all. Why was her life just a bundle of suffering? I wish this sweet dear could've found happiness. She was so nuturing and deserved to have love in her life. I just wish Mozart would have been rescued from what narrator Sean Astin said "a pitiful existence" and sent to an animal reserve where she could've lived a fullfilled life. Dear Mozart, I hope you are running free and happy.

I haven't seen MM in ages, because I always get home too late now. My friend told me of the death of Mozart and I was devestated by it. Then I visited this website and heard of the death of Flower, I was truly heartbroken. I have a cat named Flower, by the way. I read these posts just now and I couldn't help from crying. I was deeply saddened. I agree, they both were strong, caring, loving, and brave and will be strongly missed and loved. They went to Heaven with the rest of their family and we will some day be with them, too, for I believe animals go to Heaven as well. Until we meet again, Mozart, Flower, and Shakespear, R.I.P. we will always love and miss you. P.S. cinderella, I read your post and it left me in tears, but it was also touching. Thanks everyone.
