It was a cold november day in PA. I was freezing, even with the gloves coat and hat i wore. while walking home from school i pass a trailor court. passing the rusted blue car i hear a faint cry. I stop and look aroung and see a black, mouse-like, animal under this car, shivering, closer observation revealed this was actually a kitten! Approximately two weeks old. "it's so small," i said to my self, instantly putting him under my coat. i look around, "where's your mother little guy?"...
the next week i took the baby to the vet, they told me the sad truth, the kitten was a dwarf, yes a midget cat. they told me the kitten was probably abandoned by his mother because he was so small, and had practically no chance of surviving. they offered to put him down. " why would i put him down, is he in pain?" i asked
" well, he is starving, and since he is so small he probably won't survive, it would just be easier this way." this vet said.
I decided, to take the hard way. i fed him cat milk every three hours and bathed him with a wet sponge. soon this kitten went from a placid, crying kitten, to a rambunctious, curious child. although he couldn't wander to far in the house because his newborn eyes didn't see so well.
Afterthanksgiving vacation, i was clueless on what to do with this kitten, it need care all the time! and i had school and my mom had to work... the first day of school was terrible! I was forced to bring him with me... he was small enough to fit in my jacket pocket, so there he slept while i took classes... but when he got hungry he would wake up and cry... i couldn't have that happen... when i felt him move i had to go to the bathroom... i went alot that day... i fed him in there, finally teacher says " why do you have to go so much today?" Oh no i was clueless on what to say!
"uh.. i... i have diareah?..."
the class roars with laughter. and my face goes crimson red.
Luckily that was the last day i had to take him to school with me..., my friend would take care of him untill i get back from school...
soon the kitten was more independent and no longer needed a babysitter. he was the first thing i saw when i entered the door. ( because he would crawl up my leg and latch onto my shirt.)
now he is still a rambunctious child, and still a dwarf, he is 3 months now. we have named him Sin-jin,(male jenie) and he maybe a little trouble maker, but i couldn't love him more...
