This is in response to me seeing an episode of the program focusing on the landmark unit in Dallas that is dedicated to insuring guilt and innocence. My suprise at the fact that this unit is the only one of its kind in the country is only matched by the fact when the wrongly accused are finally vindicated they are cast into society with no more than the clothes on their back. I have read that a few have won judgements but just a few. How can we as a society look our children in the eye and teach them to take responsibility for their actions and we as the grown-ups expect a mia culpa to make up for the travesty we have imposed on these fellow americans.
