Answer this question: use any source you can to find a note of how they were captured: what got Karla Homolka and her boyfriend caught?

--

I never really cared about being almost murdered, and I did easily defend myself, even against two adults intent on my death. But I now require assistance to make this incident the truth of facts.

--

I was just getting home from school; my mother needed to leave for a while, for her post secondary education or to work; and my normal (next street over) babysitter had been unavailable so an agency was called (this agency called from the recommendation from neighbours). The babysitters showed up and my mother left; my eldest brother has just started his first job at Burgerking, my other older brother over at a friends for a while(usually until late), my father always late in coming home; he business worker and a commuter to and from Toronto.

The babysitters seemed nice at first; this until they started eating all the remaining hallowe'en candy out of the freezer; It was spring, the pool was open, and the hallowe'en candy was left over from a great three pillow sac hall the year before. They started asking me funny questions; then revealed their plot to murder me.

When I asked them why they were going to kill me, she talked inside my head, explained that I would in the future tell, and so needed to either turn me to their side or kill me. They instructing me into my own bedroom; they tied me to a little rocking chair which I barely fit into at the time. I can not remember the source of the rope, whether from our own garage or from their own possession. They left for a Fastfood restaurant(Wendy's) but before they left they showed me a polaroid picture of them holding up the hair of a gray dead teen. They promised me that when they got back they would dispatch me into the pool. I waited for them to leave...

I escaped my bonds, the guy was not a very good boy scout, his knots lousy, I called first my next door neighbours, a friend and school mate, but they were not home, so I called both of my grandparents, of which one was home: my fathers mother. I explained the situation, and she seemed only concerned due to the tension in my voice, and she promised to come over, but that was a trip from Scotland, Ontario to my town of Brantford.

Twenty minutes: they would be back by then. I asked her to call the police for me, as I assumed they would not believe such a story from a child plus 911 had not been initiated to my knowledge yet, so I felt I did not have time to call them.

I think I did go over to my next neighbours to insure they were not at home, and this the reason I had put my shoes on. Out of time; I returned to my bonds; hoping for my Grandmother to speed, plotting methods to defend myself (I an excellent swimmer) I was sure I could escape once in the pool.

They came back. Only when they came into my room she had a steak knife in her right hand. I had flipped the chair over to make it look like I struggled; but the knife brought fear into me, for if they stabbed me before I was thrown into the pool I would have no chance. I sprang from my bonds, and threw a toy, and then grabbed for the knife. Turned against he I slammed the back of my head into Karla's face. Paul right behind her, and with both in the doorway, I check through. Paul laughed and grabbed the back of my shirt as I dove under his legs. With him holding, I palmed my way up the hall walls, using pressure to climb high, and I kicked him in the face, and then the stomach, (I think even the balls after I landed or before I climbed).

I now free and beyond the hall; I ran for the sliding glass door, its lock recently broken and the door wedged with a lock-stick used to prevent break-ins, I abandoned it for the back garage door found downstairs. When I ran past I smashed Paul again in the face. Karla still dazed.

I made it into the back yard, and I still had the knife clutched in my left hand; when I was in the clear I threw the knife out of my own backyard, as they were coming behind me and I did not want them to recover the weapon. I was grabbed by them again when I attempted to hop the chain-link fence to the pool yard, but I squirmed and struggled against their hold; they argue over who was to go and get the gun, and this allowed my second escape.

I squeezed through loose metal boards in the fence, something me and my next door neighbour did all the time, and when Paul grabbed my right foot as I had gone through the fence, so falling to my rear my left foot found his face a great many times until he let go.

I dashed through backyards and found a regular-hide and go seek tag hiding spot, but I could not run away completely as my grandmother was now threatened.

I made my way through a few backyards and attempted to reach a friend down the street, and I was actually turned away by them... (my mess!)

I barely knew the neighbours next to those people, but they did call the police for me.

My brother came up the street at this moment, watching for my grandmothers car or that of an officer, they would need to pass by Candlewood Dr. to get to my old residence at 10 Woodway Tr.

My brother told me to stay, but I knew that between the two of us, even with a gun they would lose, but I only wanted the safety of my Grandmother from them to accomplish such. We got back before my grandmother arrived, and Paul had threatened the life of my dog when I made my escape: this gave me great worry… I could not return to free snowball and I almost cried, but with my brother now their I grew more calm. We both went back, I a fool followed him no matter what he said... I already felt like a had the strength of a comic hero. I found my brother again at the driveway, the garage door open my dog in the clutches of Paul as promised. He held the dog, I took the keys from the car, thinking first to flatten a tire to prevent their escape.

Karla came into the garage, fresh from wiping away any latent prints. She unawares with a revolver in hand passed through the door. My brother had the gun trained on him and I was very near the same door Karla was coming through, I had climbed onto the freezer to dive onto Paul. When Karla came through she saw my brother and assumed it was me. She passed through and when the gun was raised I grabbed at her wrist. Now once in the grapple my Dog reacts to such dangers… We had already called for the dog to sic, but we never had taught such a command to her. She a bred American Eskimo/German Spitz which was a breed that was bred as a small guard dog which often reacted when we boys got into scraps or even grappling matches. Our voices only intensified her reactions. She first turned on Paul, whom my brother was facing off with, and as Karla and I struggled for that gun, I pushed down and she released it into my grasp. I rolled away… And rose the gun, I let my brother take it from me, and he cocked it pointing it at them! We backed away, with their gun, our dog, their car keys, and knew the only thing they could now burn the house down…

The Police arrived and my grandmother right after… they asked who should be called… where our parents were, I informed them of the earlier phone call.

As rescue did finally come and the two now beaten were placed into custody, but only when I mentioned the picture of the dead girl was it that things became more serious for the officers.

When I returned after retrieving the knife with an officer, and only by the good nature of one of the officers were the two real babysitting killers returned to the scene, so I could be assured of their capture. It got a little funny here as two other people matching the description of Paul and Karla were in my home when I returned with the knife. I assumed the real killers had called this pair for back-up, but in reality these two were the pawns, the fall guys for Karla and Paul, this a plot to allow themselves escape, reasonable doubt, and the needed freedom to kill again.

--

Why I only mention this now:

On the spot Grief Councilling, Child welfare services, or what ever the title. I was asked if I was fine... and yes I was pumped. I told her I was fine, that I could cope with such... that I did not want to forget. I said NO! but they helped the pair by assisting my memory to let go of the incident. I didn’t need to remember, as they had been placed into police custody.

She hypnotized me to forget the whole incident, but that was Karla’s intent. Had they gotten away, who would believe such a story from a ten year old, or from a person 18 years later, now suffering PTSD and just recalling the event now.

--

So Paul and Karla were never charged with the attempted murder of a child, which was a great thing for the lawyer who came to visit me in my front yard without my parents knowledge, for if I had no knowledge of the incident his clients would go free from that insidious crime.

--

I was later threatened in the library of my public school over this. I could not reason why.

Hypnosis without consent. Funny I have read the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and in the second line of the fundamental rights it states that I have the right to freedom of thought: hypnosis raped this right from me and let people of great disease bring taint after taint into my life after.

Now the whole Karla incident, doesn't still really bother me, even if she is now free... but I do know one thing, I want these crime of hypnosis: brought before the United Nations as a crime against humanity. The occult domination which Karla was attempting to protect: will go down by my hands, typing.

I was not willing to be hypnotize: but they passed this with my acceptance (that is was better to let the families be free of the pain: as an active victim: I would remind the families... but they then made a movie?). Hypnotic block: I defeated this only in maturity: hypnosis and mental rape must be caculated into those people who have committed serial murder and severe acts of violence: some will wish to revenge for these acts!

I'm assuming by your title and the fact that you use the term 'hypnotic block' that you think this is some kind of 'mind power' or something of the sort; that they hypnotized you.

If this incident did happen, perhaps it was so traumatizing that you blocked it out until you were old enough to come to terms with it.

However; that was not your initial question.
As for that, after getting beaten by Paul, Karla went to the police and confessed. They offered her the infamous "deal with the devil" in exchange for her testimony against him.

Later the videotapes were found which showed her as a willing participant, however the deal was already in place.

She's out now, and Paul is more than likely in Kingston Penitentiary for life; due to the fact that it is very unlikely that he would get any type of parole.
