Hi everyone,

This posting is related to the brutal killing of Shenosha Richards and the awful way in which she was killed.

I have to say I expected more from Dr. Stone because he did not go into inmate (LATASHA PULLIAM'S) background. If Dr. Stone took the usual route, he would know that Latasha Pulliam was severly abused by her mother. The abuse that Latasha recieved from her mother does not excuse this crime but I believe that it is another piece to the puzzle.

But digging more into her background; she (Latasha) was both physically and sexually abused by her mother, which lead to her being taken away.

Another factor is that Latasha also had a child when she was young and abused her daughter in the same manner in which she was abused.

Latasha physically beat her daughter to the point where the state took her daughter away. (See the pattern)

Latasha is also alleged to have been involved in rapes where she held the victims down while the rapist proceeded to violate the victims.

I think Dr. Stone should look a little deeper and he will see that Latasha Pulliam is not the victim.

Don't get me wrong, I am not excluding the man that helped with the crime but I dont believe for a second that Latasha was forced.

Bottom line Dr. Stone; I dont think you have taken into account past which clearly outlined her future.

I think her Latasha's mother should have been brought up on charges for all the crimes that she commited. She messed Latasha up. She is a big contributing factor in what Latasha is today. What happened to Latasha's co-defendant? I understand he was given life but he is not in the Illinois department of corrections.

okay, first and foremost, my heart and prayers go out to little Shenosha's family. I can't even begin to imagine losing a child like that.
Let me start by saying that I have no sympathy for Latasha Pulliam at all. She made a choice to commit such a heinous crime. People have been getting away with things for too long, blaming it on having an abusive childhood. I, for one, was molested by a family member from ages 6 to 9.. I had the kind of childhood that most people can only imagine. I made the choice to get myself through college and I made the choice to have a successful career. I made the choice to not become a criminal. Latasha Pulliam is no longer on death row, but is in prison for life, wasting away our hard earned tax dollars. She continues to live and Shenosha met her fate at the age of 6. She will never experience her first date, her wedding day, or getting her license. I think Dr. Stone did a fine job interviewing her. Short and sweet. Why should he delve into her life?

I believe that Latasha's mother had a lot to do with how she turned out and my beliefs are that Latasha went through alot in her childhood at the hands of her own mom but clearly that don't give her the right to do what she did to all the people she did those things to. She knew right from wrong she knew she wanted to get high when she wanted too. I think her mind was a little messed up as a result of her childhood and because of that God spared her life from the death penalty but made her pay for her mistakes for the rest of her life in prison.

I watched this case on television last night and my heart wept. How can anyone with a "soul" especially a mother put a child through this horrific pain. This child was six years old, innocent and the world was waiting for her to mature and experience life as we have. The only sympathy I have for Latasha Pulliam is for that child she birthed and is walking around knowing she is her mother.
