I agree with dani24, Colburn should not be on the show. He is unsympathetic and basically just a jerk! I can't imagine anyone rooting for his team so to speak. Get rid of him and The Wizard and the show would be 100% excellent!

Capt.Keith is a wonderful man!!Maybe you should google his name and see some of the things he does in his off time for disabled children and his die hard fans!My son is Autistic and Capt Keith and his crew have been wonderful to him.The man has a business to run and lives to protect. I really dont think you can act like Mary Poppins while working in the Berring Sea.Capt K keep up the good work im rooting for you and so are many others (The Wizettes) the show would never be the same without you!

I disagree, he gets so upset because he DOES care, he doesnt have time to babysit crybabies, they wanted the job they got it and now they just need to do their job.
We only see the tip of the iceberg on the show but it clearly shows Keith takes his job as a captain and boat owner very seriously.

In the end , like it or not it is all about money for the the whole team on all the boats, their is no time for play and screw ups as in the end it costs them money to not get all the gear fished and set and be back at the harbor with their quote for their buyer. You keep returning with under your quote they will find someone else another boat to buy from and your rig will be setting at the dock.
He pushes these men yes, that is part of his job as he knows this is their big income for the year so why should some be able to slack and others not.

Shadow I know what you mean, it really strange of some of the topics that fuel alot of poeple.

i sent a message to them once about deleting or unsticking the old topics, even the 2 year old "chat tonight with sig" section but no one ever replied to me and they're still there.

Keith is such a pompas jerk!! I hate to see how he treats his crew..like crap except for Lennie...even his own brother. He sure needs to be taken down a peg or two PLUS have his ship taken off the show until he acts better

DC is about reality. Those men work hard and risk their lives for money. Reality is that some bosses are harder than others. The bottom line is that they make money. Captain Keith has said that a number of times. If he was really that hard, he wouldn't have a crew the next year. Why else would they come back? There's a lot of stress out there. We all handle stress a different way. Captain Keith adds another dimension to the show. They all can't be like Andy and John!
