To start with My wife and I are owners of a local pet Bakery Called FuzzyButz Pet Bakery. She started baking her own treats for Our 3 dogs and 2 cats because of all the chemical added to Pet products.Any ways we have been in buisness for 3 years now and first we just did 20 diffrent all natural treats then we were asked to devolope a birthday cake , which now we do on average of 5 to 10 a month. But now we are seeing and have customers asking for Doggy Wedding Cakes. We just Did a very large affair in Lancing Michigan at our state capital.It was a fund raiser for the local shelter. We did a 3 tier wedding cake with cream cheese Icing . Plus Doggy truffials for all the doggy quests. thier were 150 dogs and they brought their owners.The pictures are wonderful and we have got a hug responce for more affairs.Do you see this as a growing trend and have you seen or heared of doggy wedding before the owners mate thier pets?

Hey Y'all!

Having your pets names on the guest list for important occassions is more popular than ever before. From birthday parties to weddings. And, as they said on those old Grey Poupon commercials, "but of course!"

Sure, your girlfriends were there for you when you regailed them with stories of your latest dating fiasco. But, who was cuddling with you on the couch when you cried yourself silly over that dating fiasco that wasn't quite as funny to you as you had let on. Who was it that never made you feel like you were coming home to an empty house, when your significant other wasn't yet in the picture. It was your dog!

Frankly, what our dogs do for us should give them maid of honor or best men status.

And, on the topic of playgroups -- I too LOVE seeing this as a major trend. Getting to know people through a mutual love of our animals is fabulous! People really have their guards down and feel like they can truly be their selves with their "best friends" around. Keep a look out for Pet Trends to be interviewing your favorite celebrities, and you'll see exactly what I mean.
