I just wanted to pass by an amazing artist that I feel is top dog when it comes to painting dogs. This is not merly a trend, but more like a fine art movement for dog lovers and pets! I just feel it's my duty to pass by this terrific find I came across. He is Pop Artist Nathan Janes and I believe there is no other artist that can portray Dogs in their true essence like this painter! He calls his collection of work “Pop ARF” very humorous and a perfect way to describe the work he creates.
If you have not seen this, I believe you will be excited when you view these amazing creations. We need more artists with this passion to support our furry friends!
Love it. Can't afford it, but maybe there will be a book like George Rodrigue has On 'BLUE DOG', have a Ron Burns poster of "SIRIUS" the K-9 officer lost in 9/11. Like Many kinds of art, thanks for sharing.
Wow, thank you for the reply to my post! I agree a book by this artist like Rodrigue's Blue Dog would be really nice. I've seen that "SIRIUS" poster by Ron Burns also; it's very nice and super cool to depict a dog that is a hero of our time. These are the heroes of our generation I believe, these artists that contribute to making our world a more beautiful and wonderful place for animals. I especially like Mr. Janes’ “Awaiting a Guardian” he recently created for Rational Animal’s Guardian Ribbon Campaign. Guardian Ribbon Campaign
